Another member of the popular K-pop group 2PM is preparing to embark on a new chapter in life. Following the wedding of the group’s youngest member Hwang Chansung last year, it has now been confirmed that fellow member Ok Taecyeon is set to tie the knot.
News of Taecyeon’s engagement to his longtime girlfriend surfaced earlier, and his acting management label had confirmed in November that the couple planned to marry in Seoul in early 2026. At the time, the agency noted that the ceremony would take place in the spring.
Recent reports have now indicated that the wedding is scheduled for April 24 and will be held at a private venue. However, in response to the circulating details, Taecyeon’s management label 51K has chosen to maintain discretion.
The agency stated that, out of respect for the bride-to-be — who is not a public figure — all specifics regarding the ceremony would remain confidential. This includes the schedule and location of the event.
They further requested fans to understand the decision to keep the proceedings private and encouraged supporters to offer their blessings as the actor begins this new phase of his life.
Although little is publicly known about the couple, it is widely believed that they have been in a long-term relationship, with some reports suggesting that their bond spans nearly a decade. Taecyeon’s partner is said to be four years younger than him.
Over the years, the pair have occasionally been spotted together overseas, fueling quiet speculation about their relationship. Previously, photos circulated online showing Taecyeon kneeling in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, sparking engagement rumours.
At the time, however, his agency clarified that the moment was part of a birthday celebration rather than a proposal.
Now, as wedding preparations move forward, fans are expressing excitement and support for Taecyeon as he prepares to take this important step in his personal life.
With another 2PM member entering married life, the news marks yet another milestone for the group, reflecting the evolving journeys of its members beyond their musical careers.
