Salim Khan makes his first public appearance after hospital stay as Salman Khan and family join him to greet fans on Eid, showing signs of recovery.

Veteran writer Salim Khan recently made his first public appearance after being discharged from the hospital, and the moment quickly caught the attention of fans. On the occasion of Eid 2026, he stepped out with his family, including his son Salman Khan, to greet well wishers who had gathered outside their home.

A video shared by paparazzi showed Salim Khan sitting in a wheelchair as he greeted fans outside Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai. Despite his recent health issues, he looked calm and acknowledged everyone with a warm gesture. Salman Khan stood by his side, along with his brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan. Other family members were also present, making it a special and emotional moment for everyone.

For those who may not know, Salim Khan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital on February 17, 2026. Reports suggested that the 90 year old had suffered a minor haemorrhage. Doctors quickly took action, and a small medical procedure was performed successfully.

According to reports, he was kept in the ICU for observation and was even placed on a ventilator as a precaution. A procedure called Digital Subtraction Angiography was also carried out by a neurosurgeon to ensure proper treatment. Over the past few weeks, many close friends, family members, and celebrities visited him at the hospital.

Salman Khan was seen visiting his father several times during this period. Apart from him, Sohail Khan, his former wife Seema Sajdeh, and their son Nirvaan Khan also came to check on him. Salim Khan’s wives, Salma Khan and Helen, were also present during his recovery phase, showing strong family support.

Now, with his condition improving, this public appearance has brought relief and happiness to fans. Seeing him greet people on Eid has been taken as a positive sign of recovery.

Salim Khan is known as one of the most respected writers in Indian cinema. Along with Javed Akhtar, he created some of Bollywood’s most iconic films like Zanjeer, Deewar, and Don, many of which starred Amitabh Bachchan.

On the work front, Salman Khan will next be seen in Maatrubhumi, a war drama based on the Galwan Valley clash, and also has another project lined up with director Vamshi Paidipally.
