The sequel had a strong start at the Indian box office. Excluding paid previews, it opened with Rs. 4.50 crore and went on to collect around Rs. 21.50 crore during its first week. The movie maintained a steady performance in the following weeks and continued attracting audiences over a long theatrical run.
In its second week, the film earned Rs. 7.75 crore. Collections slowed in the third week but still added Rs. 3.00 crore to the total. During the fourth week, the movie collected another Rs. 1.50 crore.
