This time, Jackie Shroff is very much a part of the film’s sprawling ensemble and is visible throughout. Ironically, he hardly gets any dialogues. Even when he does speak, they are often limited to a word or two. Yet, it never feels like he has been sidelined.
Instead, Jackie proves why screen presence cannot be measured by the number of lines an actor delivers. With his effortless body language, expressive facial reactions, signature mannerisms and impeccable comic timing, he manages to leave an impression in scenes where others are speaking far more. His mere presence adds flavour to the madness unfolding around him.
