Marvel Studios’ Spider Man: Brand New Day is generating strong interest ahead of its theatrical release, with advance ticket sales pointing towards one of the biggest openings ever for a Hollywood film in India. Starring Tom Holland, the film is scheduled to release in India on July 30, 2026, 1 day before its release in the United States.
According to early booking trends, the film has already sold more than 1.65 lakh tickets across the 3 major national multiplex chains, PVRInox and Cinepolis. These sales have been recorded even before full scale advance bookings began, with wider bookings set to open from July 23.
Based on current trends, trade estimates suggest the film could sell more than 5 lakh tickets before its release. So far, Spider Man: Brand New Day has earned around Rs. 13 crore through advance bookings, indicating a very strong start at the Indian box office.
Industry estimates currently suggest the film could collect more than Rs. 45 crore on its opening day. If advance bookings continue at the same pace, the opening day collection could even cross Rs. 50 crore, putting it in contention for the biggest opening day ever for a Hollywood film in India.
Globally, the film is also expected to have a strong opening weekend. Early trade projections suggest it could collect more than $500 million worldwide during its opening weekend, although its actual performance will depend on audience response after release.
