The Odyssey continues to perform well at the Indian box office even after completing more than three weeks in cinemas. The Matt Damon starrer added Rs. 1.80 crore on its 4th Wednesday, taking its collection for the sixth day of the fourth week to Rs. 17.90 crore. The film is expected to collect around Rs. 19.50 to Rs. 20 crore by the end of its fourth week.
With the latest numbers, The Odyssey has reached a running total of Rs. 206.65 crore gross in India. If the film maintains its current pace over the next few days, it is expected to cross the Rs. 208 crore mark soon. Based on its performance so far, the film is currently projected to finish its complete theatrical run somewhere between Rs. 215 crore and Rs. 225 crore in India.
The film has emerged as a major success for Hollywood at the Indian box office. Audiences have responded positively to the epic story, but a major factor behind its strong performance has been director Christopher Nolan. Over the years, Nolan has built a very strong following among Indian moviegoers, and his name has become a major reason for audiences to watch his films in theatres.
Nolan’s popularity has grown considerably over the past decade. His last three releases, including the re release of Interstellar, have generated strong demand in India. This has helped establish the filmmaker as a significant box office draw in the country.

Its fourth week has added Rs. 2.75 crore on Friday, Rs. 5.00 crore on Saturday, Rs. 4.85 crore on Sunday, Rs. 1.65 crore on Monday, Rs. 1.85 crore on Tuesday and Rs. 1.80 crore on Wednesday, taking the total to Rs. 206.65 crore gross.
