Spider Man Brand New Day Box Office: Tom Holland Film Nears Rs. 550 Crore, Eyes Rs. 600 Crore Club

Spider Man Brand New Day added Rs. 2.50 crore on its third Monday, taking the India gross to Rs. 547.50 crore and bringing the Rs. 600 crore club closer.

Spider Man: Brand New Day continues its strong run at the Indian box office. The Tom Holland starrer added Rs. 2.50 crore gross, or Rs. 2 crore nett, on its third Monday. With this collection, the film’s third week has reached the Rs. 30 crore mark, while its overall India gross now stands at Rs. 547.50 crore.

The superhero action film is expected to cross the Rs. 550 crore gross mark by the end of today. If the current trend continues, the movie could collect around Rs. 36 to 38 crore during its third week. That would take its overall total to around Rs. 555 crore.

The next major target for the film is the Rs. 600 crore gross mark. Whether it can reach that milestone will depend on how strongly it performs in the coming weeks. A strong weekend could give the film another boost and help it move closer to the target.

Spider Man: Brand New Day has already been classified as an ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER. The film’s performance places it among a small group of major successes in the Indian market. Other films considered part of this category include Titanic, Avatar, The Jungle Book, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and Avatar: The Way of Water.

Other possible films in the same conversation include Spider Man 3, 2012 and Furious 7. The Tom Holland starrer could also reach another major milestone by potentially crossing 2 crore footfalls. So far, only Titanic and Avengers: Endgame have reportedly achieved that figure.
