At the ongoing Cannes Film Festival, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a much talked about appearance on the red carpet and was seen warmly greeting Hollywood actor Eva Longoria. A video shared on Instagram showed the two stars meeting each other with cheek kisses before posing together for photographs at the prestigious event, which concludes on May 23. Eva Longoria, who appeared in a white outfit, reposted the clip from Galafr on her Instagram Stories. She also shared several photographs from the red carpet and wrote, “All white for the Palais.”
Eva Longoria also attended an event with actress Jacqueline Fernandez during the festival. Jacqueline later shared pictures from the event and praised Eva Longoria and the organisers for their efforts through the Global Gift Foundation. Calling the experience meaningful, Jacqueline wrote, “@evalongoria @mariarbravo thank you for having me co chair the @globalgiftfoundation with you today in Cannes.”
She further added, “What makes this foundation so special is that it combines awareness with real action and long-term impact! María Bravo, Alina Peralta, and Eva Longoria have built something rooted in hope, dignity, inclusion, and equal opportunity. Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attracted attention for her outfit at the festival. She wore a custom made gown designed by Amit Aggarwal. The designer shared details about the outfit on social media and described it as featuring “Crystal Vein embroidery, where thousands of crystalline embellishments converge within sculptural lattice-like structures to create an interplay of luminosity, depth, and fluidity.”
According to the designer, the gown took more than “1500 hours of intricate craftsmanship.” The outfit was created in an abyss blue shade inspired by cosmic light and infinite space, with details designed to reflect light and change appearance with movement and illumination.
