Karan Johar’s twins, Yash and Roohi, are once again showing that they are not shy about critiquing their father’s fashion choices. In a lighthearted video shared by the filmmaker on Instagram, the young siblings hilariously roasted Karan’s outfit, leaving him on the receiving end of some playful banter.
The video starts with Karan focusing the camera on Yash and Roohi, who are adorably twinning in deep blue tees and grey pants while sitting on a sofa. Karan complimented their matching outfits, saying, “I like what you guys are wearing today!” Roohi, in her innocent but sharp way, then questioned why he doesn’t dress like them more “often,” a word she amusingly mispronounced as “office,” prompting Karan to correct her.
When Karan asked his kids if they liked what he was wearing, both Yash and Roohi gave a resounding “no.” Yash admitted that he didn’t understand his father’s style, while Roohi went a step further, remarking that it looked like a “nightsuit.” Karan tried to defend his outfit, explaining that it was “athleisure,” but this only led to a synchronized facepalm from Yash and Roohi, followed by an exasperated “Oh god!” Their candid reactions, though Karan’s outfit wasn’t visible in the video, clearly suggested that his fashion sense did not get the kids’ approval.

This isn’t the first time that Yash and Roohi have humorously critiqued their father’s wardrobe. In another video, they had previously compared one of Karan’s kurtas to something their grandmother, Hiroo Johar, would wear, highlighting their playful and honest dynamic with their dad.
Apart from sharing these adorable moments with his kids, Karan Johar is staying busy with his professional commitments. It was recently announced that he will co-host the 24th edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) 2024, alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Vicky Kaushal, which is sure to be a star-studded event.
Karan’s last directorial project was the 2023 film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani, which featured an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, and Dharmendra. The film was well-received and added another successful chapter to Karan’s illustrious career in Bollywood.
