Aamir Khan and his mother, Zeenat Hussain, recently visited his ex-wife, Reena Dutta, following the passing of her father. Aamir and Reena married in 1986 and share two children, Ira and Junaid, before divorcing in 2002. He later married Kiran Rao in 2005, and they welcomed a son, Azad, through surrogacy before their separation in 2021. Earlier this year, Kiran spoke about the close bond that remains between Aamir’s family and Reena, emphasizing that Reena has always been part of their lives and that they share a strong friendship.
Aamir has shared anecdotes about his time with Reena, including a humorous incident during her labor where he attempted to help with breathing exercises, only to receive a slap from her.
Currently, Aamir’s last film, Laal Singh Chaddha, did not perform well at the box office, but he is set to appear in Sitaare Zameen Par and will produce Lahore 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
