Akshay Kumar is currently receiving positive responses for his recently released film Bhoot Bangla. The film marks his reunion with director Priyadarshan after almost 14 years. During recent interactions related to the film, the actor also spoke about his personal life, especially about his son Aarav.
Aarav, who is the son of Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, often draws attention when seen in public. Many people have noticed his appearance and personality. However, Akshay Kumar shared that Aarav is not interested in joining the film industry.
In a conversation with Shubhankar Mishra, Akshay Kumar explained that his son has different career plans. He said, “We are both very alike. He is into health, and so am I. He is a tall boy and very focused. He loves working. But he doesn’t want to join films. He doesn’t have any such plan. He wants to be in fashion.”
He further spoke about Aarav’s current work and approach towards learning. Akshay mentioned, “Voh bechara aaj bhi ₹4500 ki naukri kar raha hai. Acchi baat hai, kyun nahi? (He’s still working a ₹4500 job even today. It’s a good thing, why not?) He is going to villages and learning fashion from there, different kinds of prints and everything. I don’t lecture him much, but I have told him not to harm anyone.”
Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna had Aarav in 2002. At the age of 15, he moved abroad for higher studies and is currently studying in London. When he visits India, he is often seen with his cousin Naomika Saran, who is expected to make her acting debut in a film produced by Maddock Films. The couple also has a daughter named Nitara, who was born in 2012.
Meanwhile, Bhoot Bangla also features actors like Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Rajpal Yadav, and Paresh Rawal. The film opened well on its first day, and its performance is expected to improve further based on audience response.
