Alia Bhatt is reuniting with singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh for an exciting new project titled Jigra, marking their second collaboration after the 2016 film Udta Punjab. The announcement was made through an Instagram post by Alia, where she teased their musical collaboration. In the post, both stars are seen sitting on chairs with their backs turned to the camera, while the word ‘JIGRA’ is lit up in front of them. The chairs carried playful captions Diljit’s chair read “Sings about kudi (girl)” and Alia’s said “the said kudi.”
Fans were quick to react to the post with excitement, praising the upcoming collaboration between Alia and Diljit. Comments poured in, expressing enthusiasm for their new track and recalling the magic they created with the Udta Punjab hit song, Ikk Kudi (Club Mix).
Aside from their upcoming song together, Alia will star in the film Jigra, which revolves around the bond between a brother and sister. The film, directed by Vasan Bala, also features Vedang Raina, Manoj Pahwa, and Rahul Ravindran, and is set to release in theaters on October 11.
