Priyanka Chopra recently attended The Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women Dinner during New York Fashion Week, which returned for its third consecutive year. The event, co-hosted by Salma Hayek, gathered a star-studded group of celebrities to support organizations fighting gender-based violence. Salma shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, expressing her gratitude to attendees like Priyanka Chopra, Kim Kardashian Naomi Watts, Julianne Moore, Viola Davis, Dakota Johnson and others. The event also saw the presence of Orlando Bloom Matthew McConaughey, Katy Perry, Jeff Bezos, and Carmelo Anthony.
In her post, Salma thanked everyone for helping raise awareness and vital funds for organizations such as Girl Effect, It’s On Us, and the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV). She also mentioned that the speeches delivered at the event would be highlighted individually.
Priyanka responded to Salma’s post, calling the event “inspiring,” while Orlando Bloom echoed the sentiment. The dinner was also co-hosted by notable figures like Francois-Henri Pinault, Camila Alves McConaughey, Donald Versace, and Billy Crudup.
On the work front, Priyanka has wrapped up filming for The Bluff, a film set in the 19th-century Caribbean where she plays a former female pirate fighting to protect her family. She will also appear in the upcoming action film Heads of State, starring alongside John Cena and Idris Elba.
