Baahubali Fans Can’t Keep Calm After Viral Video Hints at Part 3

A viral video featuring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty has sparked fresh excitement about Baahubali 3, but there is no official confirmation yet.

Ever since Baahubali became one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema, fans have been eagerly waiting to know if the story will continue with a third film. The two movies not only broke several box office records but also changed the way Indian films were seen around the world. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the franchise made Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty household names across the country. Now, a new viral video has once again raised hopes that Baahubali 3 could finally become a reality.

The latest excitement started after a clip from the documentary Baahubali: The Torchbearer began circulating on social media. In the video, Rana Daggubati jokingly says that he is not sure if he should reveal something publicly, especially because director SS Rajamouli and producer Shobu Yarlagadda are not present. He then says that the world may not be ready yet, but there will be Baahubali, before stopping midway. At that moment, Prabhas smiles and raises three fingers, while Anushka Shetty laughs along with everyone else. The clip ends with the words, “And the legacy continues,” making fans believe it was a hint about Baahubali 3.

The video quickly went viral, with many fans treating it as confirmation that the third film is finally on its way. Social media was flooded with excited reactions. Many people called it the biggest announcement in Indian cinema, while others said they got goosebumps after watching the clip. Some fans even predicted that if SS Rajamouli returns with another Baahubali film, it could become the biggest Indian movie ever made and set new box office records.

However, despite all the excitement, there has been no official announcement from SS Rajamouli or the makers about Baahubali 3. It is still unclear if the project is actually happening, when it could begin, or whether it will be made as a film, a web series, or in another format. For now, fans will have to wait for an official confirmation.

The Baahubali journey began in 2015 with Baahubali: The Beginning, which became a huge success because of its grand visuals, powerful performances and engaging story. The sequel, Baahubali: The Conclusion, released in 2017 and became one of the highest grossing Indian films of all time, earning around ₹1,788 crore worldwide. Last year, both films were combined and re released as Baahubali: The Epic in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi, proving that the love for the franchise continues to remain as strong as ever.
