The grand wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani, the younger son of businessman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant have been captured in a recently released documentary now streaming on JioCinema. The documentary focuses on the couple’s lavish three-day pre-wedding festivities held earlier this year in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

In the trailer, Nita Ambani shares her personal connection to Jamnagar, expressing her deep-rooted affection for the city: “Jamnagar holds a special place in our hearts. When it came to my youngest son Anant’s wedding, I had two important wishes. First, I wanted to celebrate our roots. Second, I wanted it to be a tribute to our arts and cultures.” The documentary beautifully encapsulates these sentiments, with a focus on traditional Indian arts and culture, complete with Vedic chants and divine music that highlights the grandeur of the event.

The three-day pre-wedding bash, held in the first week of March, was a star-studded affair, attended by celebrities from around the world. Bollywood’s top couples, including Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal, are seen performing the aarti with the Ambani family. Other stars like Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, and Karisma Kapoor also participated in the ceremonies. Prominent figures such as Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, and Bill Gates were also spotted celebrating with the family. The documentary captures candid moments, such as **Aishwarya Rai Bachchan** and her daughter Aaradhya sharing a light moment with Abhishek Bachchan.

The Jamnagar celebrations included various unique events like “An Evening in Everland,” a cocktail party, “A Walk on the Wildside” held at the Ambanis’ Vantara animal rescue centre, themed around a jungle, and “Mela Rouge,” a vibrant carnival. A grand Maha Aarti also marked the occasion. In addition to these celebrations, the Ambanis hosted a pre-wedding event on an international cruise**.

Following these festivities, the wedding itself took place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, with multiple ceremonies spread over three days Shubh Vivah, Shubh Aashirwad, and Mangal Utsav ensuring a blend of tradition, luxury, and cultural homage.
