Kangana Ranaut has recently shared her first social media post since the news surfaced that she is selling her Mumbai bungalow. Reports on Sunday indicated that Kangana’s house, which was partially demolished by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in September 2020, is now up for sale.

Although the actress has not directly addressed these reports, she posted a quote by Sun Tzu that reads, “An evil man will burn his own nation to the ground to rule over the ashes.” Kangana added her own commentary, “If someone can burn the nation down in the fire of casteism only for the throne then remember that person don’t mind ruling over the ashes. Beware.” The motivation behind this post is unclear.

Kangana Ranaut mocks Rahul Gandhi and has been criticized for its derogatory nature

Kangana, who has been focusing on her political career after winning a seat from Mandi in the Lok Sabha Elections in June 2024, is frequently seen in the Rajya Sabha. Meanwhile, the bungalow in Bandra’s Pali Hill area, which includes her production house Manikarnika Films, reportedly has a “for sale” sign. The rumor originated from a YouTube channel called Code Estate, which claimed in a video that a production house office is up for sale. While the video did not explicitly name the owner or the production house, the images suggested it was Kangana’s property, allegedly listed for Rs 40 crore.

Previously, Kangana made headlines for mocking Rahul Gandhi by sharing an edited image of him with the caption, “Jaati Jeevi Jisse bina jaati puche jaati ganana karaani hain.”

This incident has sparked broader discussions about the behavior of elected officials and their impact on public perception. In contrast to Kangana’s actions, Vikramaditya Singh, despite losing the election, has been praised for his on-ground efforts during the Himachal floods. This comparison has fueled debates about the responsibilities and conduct expected of politicians.
