Dharmendra, affectionately known as the “He-Man” of Bollywood, has enjoyed a prolific career spanning several decades. In recent years, even as an octogenarian, Dharmendra has remained active in the film industry. He made headlines with his appearance in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, where his on-screen kiss with veteran actress Shabana Azmi became a hot topic on social media. Dharmendra humorously compared this moment to his grandson Rajveer Deol’s liplocks in the film Dono, highlighting the generational continuity of romance in cinema.
Looking ahead, Dharmendra is set to star in Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming film Ikkis, alongside Agastya Nanda. The film, set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war, follows the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal, offering Dharmendra yet another opportunity to showcase his enduring talent. His involvement in Ikkis continues to demonstrate his dedication to the craft and his ability to take on diverse and challenging roles, even after decades in the industry.
