Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna have officially released the teaser of their upcoming film ‘ Thama’. Dinesh Vijan set to collaborate with his director Aditya Satpodar on a horror-comedy based against the backdrop of vampires. Now, the makers have finally announced it on their official social media accounts.
Ayushmann Khurrana has collaborated with Rashmika Mandanna and Dinesh Vijan for the first time in their next project, Thama, as announced today, October 30. The video announcement shows that the movie also stars Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles.
“Love Story For Dinesh Vijan’s Horror Comedy Universe… The Bloody One Get Ready for #Thama — Diwali 2025!” the post was captioned.
Fans soon flooded the comments section, sharing their thrill for the movie. One user said, “A VAMPIRE LOVE STORY IS ALL BOLLYWOOD NEEDED AT THE MOMENT”. Another user said, “I’M NOT ABLE TO REALISE THISSS IS HAPPENING ITS HAPPENING”
Originally named as Vampire Of Vijay Nagar, the film was later in conversation to India Today, backed by Stree 2, and spoke about Thama.
A source close to the development tells us, “The 2nd time Aditya Satpodar and Dinesh Vijan collaborate after Munjya. This project will be the very first collaboration of Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna. The actors have an interesting arc in the film that will leave the audience surprised, making their role a very unique one. The script is in the writing phase and will go on floors soon.”
