Finally, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce battle comes to an end after 8 years, as both signed a settlement on December 30, reported Jolie’s lawyer, James Simon. “Angelina is exhausted but relieved it’s over,” Simon said.
2016 saw Jolie applying for divorce from Pitt after a decade-long relationship and two years of marriage. When they separated, their six children, including Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne, ranged in age from 8-15.
The lengthy divorce is rife with incredibly messy issues-a bitter custody battle, allegations of physical and verbal abuse on a private jet in 2016, and a legal tussle over their French winery, Château Miraval. In a 2022 FBI report concerning an accusation, Jolie was claimed to have stated that Pitt attacked her and verbally abused the children during the flight.
