In the clip, Fallon opens an envelope labeled “Top Secret,” then inserts a vintage disc into an old computer. The screen loads slowly, revealing a photo of Jin along with his debut date. Fallon’s over-the-top reaction captures the excitement of the BTS ARMY, who are ready to see Jin take the spotlight on his own.

This marks Jin’s big return to the public eye following his mandatory military service completion earlier this year, as he was the first BTS member to finish his service, followed by J-Hope. Until all members complete their service, BTS’s group activities remain on hold. Since then, BTS has returned multiple times, including virtual performances during the 2020 pandemic, lifting fans’ spirits worldwide.
