Rangeen, the long-awaited show featuring Viineet Kumar Singh, has finally released its trailer on Prime Video and it’s creating all the buzz. A dark humor-infused, emotionally charged, and off-beat take on storytelling, the show delves into betrayal, lust, and self-reinvention.
Based on the apparently ordinary world, Rangeen traces the life of Adarsh (played by Viineet Kumar Singh), a shy middle-aged man who learns that his wife, Naina, has been secretly dating gigolos because of their unexciting marital life. Instead of breaking down, Adarsh does something quite different — he becomes a gigolo himself. What ensues is a laugh-out-loud and poignant ride of revenge, self-realization, and unexpected transmutations.

The trailer promises a rollercoaster of emotions — offbeat characters, punchy one-liners, and outlandish-yet-familiar situations. Viineet Kumar Singh, who has proven himself with his intense performances in shows like “Gullak”, enters the character of Adarsh with subtle humour and controlled intensity. He added, “Adarsh felt immediately human — imperfect and torn, but profoundly sincere. What energized me was depicting betrayal and self-doubt with wit and understatement.”
Rajshri Deshpande acts Naina, Adarsh’s wife and emotional trigger of the narrative. Speaking about her character, she mentioned, “Naina isn’t defined by a label. She’s looking for meaning, yearning for desire, and unapologetically human. Rangeen dares to show the complexity women carry without simplifying it.”
Directed by Kopal Naithani and Pranjal Dua, Rangeen is written and produced by Amardeep Galsin and Amir Rizvi, and is produced by Kabir Khan and Rajan Kapoor. The ensemble cast features Viineet and Rajshri, along with Taaruk Raina and Sheeba Chaddha.
Rangeen will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and in 240 countries and territories on July 25.
