Lisa Ann Walter Gets Emotional Talking About Lindsay Lohan’s Comeback

0

The Parent Trap star Lisa Ann Walter is celebrating the success and happiness of former child star Lindsay Lohan after the two recently reunited. During an emotional appearance on Good Morning America, Walter reflected on seeing Lohan again at Disney’s Upfront presentation and admitted she became overwhelmed with pride while talking about her former costar.

“I hardly ever see her because she lives most of the year in Dubai and she’s got a husband and a baby and she’s busy,” Walter shared. “We talk sometimes on social media. It was magic to see her. I’m going to cry!”

Walter visibly teared up during the interview before adding that she’s “so proud of the woman she’s become and how happy she is now.”

The actresses famously starred together in Disney’s 1998 remake of The Parent Trap, where Walter played Chessy, the lovable nanny caring for the twin sisters portrayed by a young Lohan.

Over the years, Lohan’s life and career became heavily scrutinized due to legal troubles and tabloid attention during the 2000s. However, Walter praised the actress for rebuilding her life and career in recent years.

“She’s doing a show which, by the way, looks really good,” Walter said, referring to Lohan’s upcoming Hulu series adaptation of Count My Lies, which also stars Kit Harington and Shailene Woodley.

Walter also recalled reuniting with Lohan at the Freakier Friday premiere last summer, where Lohan reportedly spoke enthusiastically about her upcoming projects and future plans.

Fellow Parent Trap actress Elaine Hendrix has also spoken positively about reconnecting with Lohan in recent years. Hendrix recently appeared alongside Lohan in a cameo for Freakier Friday and said she was happy to see Lohan thriving personally and professionally.

The emotional reunion has also reignited speculation about a possible Parent Trap sequel. During a previous interview, Walter jokingly called out Disney directly when asked if conversations about continuing the beloved franchise had resurfaced.

“I mean, are you listening, Disney?” Walter said, before teasing that Lohan “may have already” contacted Disney herself to help get a sequel moving.

Lohan’s recent Hollywood resurgence has included starring roles in multiple Netflix films including Falling for Christmas, Irish Wish, and Our Little Secret.

According to Walter, seeing Lohan happy, settled, and creatively fulfilled has been incredibly emotional for those who watched her grow up in Hollywood.

Mitch Morse Says Travis Kelce Was Always Destined for Stardom

0

Long before Travis Kelce became one of the NFL’s biggest stars and even before his headline-making romance with Taylor Swift, former teammate Mitch Morse says it was obvious Kelce was destined for greatness. Speaking during a recent appearance with TMZ Sports, Morse reflected on his years playing alongside Kelce with the Kansas City Chiefs from 2015 to 2018 and said the tight end’s charisma stood out immediately.

“Charismatic, and talk about comforting eyes. My goodness,” Morse joked during the interview. “I know why Taylor did it. He’s a brutally handsome dude.”

But according to Morse, Kelce’s appeal goes far beyond his celebrity image.

“He’s just a good person,” Morse added. “What you see is what you get and then some.”

Morse explained that fans frequently ask him whether Kelce’s larger-than-life personality is genuine or exaggerated for the cameras. His answer is always the same.

“I’m like, ‘No, he’s even cooler. He’s even sweeter. He’s even nicer. He takes the time,’” Morse said.

The former Chiefs center recalled watching Kelce’s rise firsthand during the early stages of his career, including the season Kelce earned his first Pro Bowl selection and signed a major contract extension.

Despite the growing fame, Morse said Kelce never changed around teammates.

He even shared a funny memory from the time Kelce starred on the reality dating show Catching Kelce back in 2016.

According to Morse, Kelce once broke down the team huddle during organized team activities by jokingly reminding everyone to tune into his show.

“We were busting his ass in a jovial way,” Morse laughed. “And he broke it down and was like, ‘Make sure to catch my show on Thursday!’”

Since those early years in Kansas City, Kelce has become one of the most recognizable athletes in the world thanks to his Hall of Fame-level football career, media appearances, podcast success, and highly publicized relationship with Swift.

Morse, meanwhile, eventually left Kansas City and went on to play for the Buffalo Bills, where he also shared the field with quarterback Josh Allen.

During the TMZ Sports interview, Morse also discussed the differences between Allen and Patrick Mahomes while reflecting on his own NFL career and his newly launched podcast, In Good Company.

As for Kelce, Morse made it clear that the superstar fans see today is the exact same person he knew years ago in the Chiefs locker room, just with a much bigger spotlight now.

Chris Brown’s Ex-Housekeeper Wants Judge to Block Alleged Medical Payment Evidence in Dog Attack Lawsuit

0

Chris Brown’s former housekeeper is pushing back against claims that members of the singer’s team helped cover her medical expenses following an alleged dog attack, arguing the information has nothing to do with the actual case. According to newly filed court documents obtained by TMZ, Maria Avila is asking a judge to prevent Brown’s legal team from introducing evidence or testimony suggesting she received money after the incident.

Avila is currently suing Brown for $90 million, claiming she suffered severe injuries after allegedly being attacked by one of the singer’s dogs while working at his property.

In the filing, Avila specifically references claims involving a man named Emil Lewis, who she says allegedly stated he gave her “tens of thousands of dollars” to help pay medical bills following the attack. Avila disputes that claim altogether.

However, even if such payments were made, her legal team argues they are completely irrelevant to the central issues of the lawsuit.

According to the filing, the alleged payments do not prove whether the attack actually happened, how severe her injuries were, or whether Brown should ultimately be held liable.

Avila’s attorneys also argue there is no witness with direct personal knowledge who can definitively testify that any such payments occurred. They claim introducing the issue during trial would unfairly prejudice the jury against her.

The lawsuit stems from allegations that Brown’s dog violently attacked Avila, leaving her with serious facial injuries. Graphic photos tied to the case have previously surfaced publicly, with Avila reportedly seeking permission to show them during trial proceedings.

Brown has denied responsibility for the alleged incident. His legal team has argued that Avila provoked the dog prior to the attack.

The trial is currently scheduled to begin on June 15. The latest legal development comes amid another controversial week for Brown, who recently made headlines after lashing out at critics following a harsh review of his newest album.

Michelle Obama Enjoys Rare Beverly Hills Outing With Daughters Malia and Sasha

0

Michelle Obama enjoyed a rare public outing with daughters Malia and Sasha Obama during a family dinner in Beverly Hills this week. The former first lady was spotted arriving at celebrity hotspot Funke Restaurant on Monday night alongside her daughters, with Secret Service agents surrounding the trio as they entered the restaurant. Photos from the outing quickly caught attention online, especially because public appearances featuring all three Obama women together have become increasingly uncommon in recent years.

Michelle, 62, kept things casual and chic for the evening, wearing a fitted Henley top paired with low-rise jeans, a brown belt, and a relaxed jacket draped over her arm.

Meanwhile, Malia Obama, 27, opted for a floral knee-length cami dress styled with black boots and silver jewelry, while Sasha Obama, 24, went for a coordinated denim-on-denim look with pointed navy flats.

The family appeared relaxed and smiling throughout the evening, with reports suggesting the dinner doubled as a belated Mother’s Day celebration.

The outing comes shortly after Michelle opened up about adjusting to life as an empty nester now that both daughters have moved out of the family home.

During a recent episode of her IMO podcast with brother Craig Robinson, Michelle spoke candidly about how different life feels now that Malia and Sasha are fully independent.

“Our kids are grown. They’re out,” she said. “We’re looking at each other like, ‘Hey, I remember you.’”

She also admitted this new chapter has changed the dynamic between her and former President Barack Obama.

“Now I’m not mad about anything. I don’t need you to do anything for me,” Michelle joked during the podcast conversation.

Malia graduated from Harvard University in 2021, while Sasha completed her studies at the University of Southern California in 2023.

Michelle reflected on how parenting became the couple’s “first major joint project” during Barack Obama’s political rise and presidency.

“When those beautiful, lovely kids show up with their own agendas and needs, it changes everything,” she explained.

The Obama daughters spent much of their childhood in the public eye after Barack Obama was elected president in 2008, becoming one of the most recognizable first families in modern American history.

Now adults, both Malia and Sasha have largely stayed away from the political spotlight while slowly building their own careers and personal lives. Still, rare family outings like this continue to draw major attention from fans eager to catch a glimpse of the famously private Obama family together again.

Halsey to Star in and Co-Write New Psycho-S*xual Horror Film ‘Replacer’

0

Halsey is officially stepping deeper into the horror world. The Grammy-nominated singer will star in and co-write a new psycho-s*xual horror movie titled Replacer, with actor and filmmaker Avan Jogia attached to direct the project. The film is currently launching sales at the Cannes market, while Lilly Wachowski has signed on as an executive producer. According to the official synopsis, Replacer follows Proxy, a troubled DJ played by Halsey, who becomes stranded in Montreal and encounters an underground group running a mysterious pirate radio station.

Things quickly spiral into chaos after a strange signal hidden beneath the city’s subway system begins affecting everyone exposed to it.

“Proxy must escape before the sound turns her, and her new friends, into something raw, primal, and unrecognizable,” the synopsis reads.

The project is being described as a “psycho-sexual horror” film blending thriller, horror, comedy, and underground subculture aesthetics.

Jogia, who co-wrote the script alongside Halsey, described the movie as “a bright and electric club horror mashed together with a vulnerable romantic story about belonging and community.”

“Come together. Leave as one,” he added.

The film marks another major acting move for Halsey, who has increasingly expanded her presence in Hollywood in recent years. The singer previously appeared in the horror film MaXXXine and has continued building a résumé that stretches beyond music.

Meanwhile, Lilly Wachowski praised both the screenplay and Jogia’s vision for the project.

“Avan and Halsey’s script is a surreal hyper-dive into a twitchy, conspiratorial genre-mashing snarl of horror, thriller, and comedy,” Wachowski said.

She also compared the project’s tone and influences to legendary filmmakers including David Cronenberg, John Carpenter, Tony Scott, and Alex Cox.

The story’s gritty Montreal setting and underground radio station backdrop are expected to play a huge role in the film’s atmosphere, giving Replacer a darker and more experimental horror aesthetic.

Jogia, known for acting roles in projects like Zombieland: Double Tap, has also been steadily building his directing career, making Replacer one of his most high-profile filmmaking projects to date.

The movie is being produced by Independent Edge, Soft Focus Films, and Getaway Entertainment, with international sales handled by Film Mode Entertainment.

As horror continues dominating both mainstream and indie cinema, Replacer is already generating buzz thanks to its unusual premise, genre-blending style, and the creative collaboration between Halsey, Jogia, and Wachowski.

Paris Jackson Scores Major Legal Victory Against Michael Jackson Estate Executors

0

Paris Jackson has just scored a massive legal victory in her years-long fight against the executors of Michael Jackson’s estate. According to new court rulings, executors John Branca and John McClain have now been ordered to return $625,000 to the estate after certain attorney bonus payments were deemed “arbitrary” by the court. The legal battle has been ongoing for years, with Paris accusing the estate’s executors of making unauthorized bonus payments to lawyers while allegedly failing to properly protect the interests of Michael Jackson’s children and beneficiaries.

On May 11, referee Mitchell L. Beckloff ruled that future bonus payments to attorneys can no longer happen unless every beneficiary gives written approval or the court itself signs off on them.

The ruling also specifically targeted payments made back in 2018 that Branca reportedly approved himself. Those payments were officially disallowed, with the court ordering the money to be returned to the estate.

Paris’ team celebrated the ruling as a huge moment for the Jackson family.

“Paris has always been focused on what’s best for her family and this ruling is a massive win for them,” her spokesperson said in a statement.

The statement also accused the estate of operating more like “a slush fund” rather than a financially responsible entity designed to protect the Jackson family’s future.

Despite the criticism, the court still acknowledged that the executors helped transform Michael Jackson’s estate financially after the singer died in 2009 reportedly over $500 million in debt.

Today, the estate is believed to be worth around $2 billion.

Still, Paris has continued questioning how the money has been handled behind the scenes. According to previous filings, she claimed the executors paid themselves over $10 million in 2021 alone, while she and her brothers, Prince Jackson and Bigi Jackson, allegedly received far less.

The estate responded to the ruling by saying they “fully respect” the decision even though they disagree with it.

Representatives also clarified that none of the disputed $625,000 payments went directly to Branca or McClain personally, arguing the amount represented only a small fraction of the estate’s total expenses during that period.

The ruling marks one of the biggest wins Paris has secured so far in the legal dispute, especially after suffering setbacks in court last year.

Meanwhile, controversy surrounding Michael Jackson’s legacy continues growing. Just last month, the estate was also hit with another lawsuit filed by people claiming to be part of the singer’s alleged “second family,” accusing him of abuse and grooming allegations.

Meghan Markle Reportedly Carrying Financial Pressure As Prince Harry Focuses On Philanthropy

0

Meghan Markle is reportedly feeling the financial pressure of maintaining the Sussex lifestyle as new reports claim she has become the primary breadwinner in her marriage to Prince Harry. According to Page Six sources, money is allegedly becoming “tight” for the couple as they continue funding their ultra-expensive life in Montecito, California. Insiders claim the Duke and Duchess of Sussex require at least $6 million a year just to cover operating expenses. A huge chunk of that reportedly goes toward private security for the family, including children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The couple also continues paying off their $15 million Montecito mansion.

It has been revealed that while Harry remains focused on philanthropy projects like the Invictus Games and his role at mental health company BetterUp, Meghan has shifted heavily toward business and brand expansion.

The Duchess is currently focusing on growing her lifestyle brand As Ever after reportedly parting ways with Netflix earlier this year.

There are claims Netflix ended its partnership with As Ever after Meghan’s tie-in series With Love, Meghan failed to move forward beyond a second season. According to insiders, Meghan allegedly felt she had been “left to carry the whole thing by herself.”

Meanwhile, Meghan has continued aggressively expanding her personal business ventures.

Last month, she joined AI-powered fashion platform OneOff as both an investor and featured celebrity curator. The platform allows fans to shop her outfits directly, with Meghan reportedly earning commission percentages from purchases.

According to company executives, her fashion page generated over one million outfit views within just three days of launch.

The former Suits actress has also leaned into influencer-style branding online, recently posting glossy promotional videos for As Ever while wearing luxury jewelry, including a reported $63,000 diamond necklace.

Sources also pointed out Meghan’s powerful network of wealthy female friends, including beauty entrepreneur Jamie Kern Lima and makeup mogul Bobbi Brown, who have reportedly supported her business expansion efforts.

During the Sussexes’ recent Australia trip, Meghan also appeared at the “Her Best Life” retreat in Sydney, where attendees reportedly paid thousands of dollars for access to the event.

Meanwhile, Harry’s professional future continues drawing questions. Although he still works with BetterUp as Chief Impact Officer, previous reports have suggested some employees allegedly struggled to define his actual responsibilities within the company.

Despite ongoing rumors about Meghan potentially returning to acting full-time, insiders denied reports that she’s currently searching for a major television role.

Still, with mounting expenses, luxury branding deals, and increasing public scrutiny over their finances, the Sussexes continue facing questions about how sustainable their California lifestyle really is.

Tom Hanks Roasts Stephen Colbert With “Résumé Writing” Joke During Emotional Late Show Appearance

0

Tom Hanks gave Stephen Colbert one unforgettable birthday surprise during Wednesday night’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The Oscar-winning actor appeared on the show carrying a series of gifts for the late-night host, whose final episode is officially set to air on May 21. But while the moment started sweetly, Hanks quickly turned it into a hilarious roast about Colbert’s uncertain future after CBS ended the legendary franchise.

Hanks first handed Colbert a box of old-school dot matrix printer paper.

“This is great paper that’s always connected,” Hanks joked before adding, “You’re going to be doing some serious résumé writing.”

The audience immediately burst into laughter as Colbert tried to hold himself together.

But Hanks was not done yet.

The actor, who is famously obsessed with vintage typewriters, then surprised Colbert with a classic Underwood typewriter, presented with the help of women he jokingly called “The Hankettes.”

To complete the package, Hanks also gifted him bags of Hanks Coffee, his coffee brand that supports veterans.

Earlier in the interview, Hanks had already arrived with another playful gift: a stack of CBS-branded office paper.

“Dude, you’re moving on, and there is so much stuff to steal from the offices right now,” Hanks told Colbert. “They’re never going to miss it.”

The jokes come as The Late Show officially approaches its end after CBS announced the franchise would conclude in May 2026. In a statement released earlier this year, the network called the decision “purely financial,” insisting the cancellation was unrelated to Colbert’s ratings or political commentary.

“The Late Show With Stephen Colbert will end its historic run in May 2026 at the end of the broadcast season,” CBS said. “We consider Stephen Colbert irreplaceable and will retire The Late Show franchise at that time.”

Hanks also reflected on some of the most memorable moments from his decades-long acting career during the interview.

The Forrest Gump star recalled filming the iconic beach scene in Splash, running through the Louvre for The Da Vinci Code, and unexpectedly witnessing commuters on a bus watching Sleepless in Seattle while he and director Rob Reiner stood nearby.

Meanwhile, support for Colbert continues pouring in from fellow late-night hosts. Earlier this week, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, and John Oliver reunited on Colbert’s show to announce a special Strike Force Five charity episode honoring the host’s final days on air.

Both Kimmel and Fallon have also confirmed that their shows will air reruns on the night of Colbert’s finale in solidarity. With just days remaining before the curtain officially falls on The Late Show, moments like Hanks’ appearance are making Colbert’s farewell feel even more emotional for longtime fans.

Krishnavataram Part 1 Crosses Rs. 10 Crore At Box Office In First Week

Krishnavataram Part 1: Hridayam is continuing a decent run at the Indian box office during its first week in theatres. The mythological fantasy drama earned around Rs. 1.15 crore on its first Wednesday, showing a slight increase compared to its Monday collection.

With this, the film’s total collection has crossed the Rs. 10 crore mark within 6 days of release. The current India nett total stands at Rs. 10.55 crore.

Trade estimates suggest the movie could finish its first week with collections close to Rs. 11.50 crore. However, the film will need to show a strong jump during its second weekend and maintain stable weekday collections if it wants to achieve a stronger lifetime total at the box office.

While the movie’s performance is being described as decent considering its cast and release scale, industry discussions indicate that the collections may still fall short compared to the film’s reported production costs.

The film belongs to the mythological fantasy genre, which has shown unpredictable box office trends in recent years. Last year, Mahavatar Narsimha surprised the industry with its performance. The animated film, based on avatars of Lord Vishnu, opened with Rs. 1.25 crore on its first day before showing major growth over the weekend. It later went on to collect Rs. 170 crore nett in Hindi.

Similarly, another mythological film, Laalo: Krishna Sada Sahayate, had a slow start before witnessing a sharp rise in collections after several weeks in theatres.

Krishnavataram Part 1 focuses on the Krishna avatar in a live action format. Films based on mythology often depend heavily on audience word of mouth and family viewership, which can sometimes lead to unexpected box office growth after the opening week.

The India box office collections for Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart are as follows:

Previews collected Rs. 0.40 crore.
Friday earned Rs. 1.05 crore.
Saturday earned Rs. 2.15 crore.
Sunday earned Rs. 3.20 crore.
Monday earned Rs. 1.05 crore.
Tuesday earned Rs. 1.55 crore estimated.
Wednesday earned Rs. 1.15 crore estimated.

The film’s total collection currently stands at Rs. 10.55 crore.
