Tamannaah Bhatia recently visited the famous Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, where she attended the sacred Bhasma Aarti and offered prayers. The actress was seen sitting quietly among other devotees during the early morning ritual. Dressed in a beautiful red saree, Tamannaah looked graceful as she participated in the spiritual ceremony and sought blessings at the temple. Videos and pictures from her visit have now gone viral on social media, with fans praising her simple and traditional appearance.

A video shared by Instant Bollywood showed Tamannaah deeply involved in the prayers during the aarti. Fans quickly reacted to the visuals online, with many calling her look elegant and peaceful. Tamannaah is known for visiting temples and often shares her spiritual side with fans. Her latest temple visit once again caught the attention of social media users, who appreciated seeing the actress away from the glamour of films and public events.

Recently, actor Arjun Rampal also visited the same temple and offered prayers. His spiritual visit came at a time when he has been receiving attention for his film Dhurandhar 2. Speaking about his visit, Arjun said that he felt a divine connection that brought him to the temple. He also prayed for peace, happiness, and prosperity for everyone. The actor later shared pictures from the visit on social media, where he was seen wearing a saffron and maroon religious stole with Vedic chants printed on it. Along with the pictures, he posted a heartfelt Mother’s Day message and wished happiness for all mothers.

On the work front, Tamannaah is currently preparing for her upcoming film Vvan: Force of the Forest. The movie also stars Sidharth Malhotra and is directed by Deepak Mishra and Arunabh Kumar. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the film is expected to release in theatres on August 28 during the Raksha Bandhan festival period. The movie is already creating excitement among fans because of its unique story based on Indian folklore and ancient forests in Central India. The makers are shooting in real forest locations to give the film a more natural and realistic feel.

Pooja Batra recently spoke about the challenges she faced in Bollywood because of her height. The former Miss India said that during her acting career, she often had to adjust herself physically in scenes so that male actors would not appear shorter on screen. She also said actresses like Deepika Padukone and Kriti Sanon have had an easier path because she helped break stereotypes for tall actresses in the film industry.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Pooja said, “It was tough. I remember I was told by Sangeeta Bijlani, ‘You don’t have a chance in the movies because you’re too tall.’ She’s my idol. She’s beautiful, and she’s a model too. I gave every role I got my best, even though the heroes got intimidated because of my stature. It’s true I didn’t book a lot of movies because of my height. I lost out on a lot of good roles.”

Speaking further about Deepika Padukone and Kriti Sanon, she said, “I paved the way for tall actresses. Say thank you.”

Pooja also recalled how she had to change her posture during shoots to avoid looking taller than male actors. She said, “I would do splits in front of the camera so that the heroes would look taller. I had to spread my legs halfway through the scene. Salman never had a problem. He was one guy who’d be like, ‘Wear your heels, I don’t have a problem.’ He’d be confident in his own skin.”

Before entering films, Pooja Batra had a successful modelling career. She won the Femina Miss India International title in 1993 and later represented India at the Miss International pageant. Her visibility increased after the competition, helping her move into films.

Pooja made her acting debut with the Tamil film Aasai in 1995. Directed by Vasanth and produced by Mani Ratnam, the film became a major success and gave her a strong start in cinema.

She later entered Bollywood with Virasat alongside Anil Kapoor, Tabu and Amrish Puri. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film introduced her to Hindi film audiences.

Over the years, Pooja Batra appeared in several popular films including Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Nayak, Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye and Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiya. Later, she moved away from mainstream Bollywood and spent several years in the United States while continuing work in modelling, wellness, and selective acting projects.

Neelima Azeem, mother of actors Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, has once again spoken openly about her personal life and the criticism she has faced over the years. In a recent interview with Zoom TV, the actress discussed her three marriages, online trolling, and how social media comments still affect her emotionally.

Neelima was first married to actor Pankaj Kapur, with whom she has son Shahid Kapoor. She later married Rajesh Khatter and became the mother of Ishaan Khatter. Her third marriage was with Ustaad Raza Ali Khan.

Talking about the harsh comments she receives online, Neelima said, “Just the other day, someone commented that ‘sharaab pee kar kya haal ho gaya hai (see what condition she is in due to drinking)’. I don’t even drink. Social media makes statements without any truth.”

Speaking about being blamed for her failed marriages, she said, “I married very simple men who had no money, but who I thought were great people and very talented. I never married for material or riches. I never sought a relationship in my life where they would build my career for me or invest money into my businesses; this is not my way of life. I did whatever I could in my capacity, I did theater, TV, I have hosted, danced, as an actress, I have 27 best actress awards, I have worked with the finest actors, I never talked about it or blew my own trumpet.”

Neelima also said that she now feels it is important to speak openly because silence often allows others to change facts and spread false narratives. She said, “But now I feel I have come to a place where I must speak because if you don’t tell your truth, people suppress your voice, change your facts. As time passes, you realize that you are being defamed. What’s sad is that another woman is doing it. How do women do this to each other? I didn’t want to end my marriage, but when things happen, there is a reason. It’s very easy to blame the person.”

In an earlier interview with Vickey Lalwani in December last year, Neelima had spoken about her separation from Pankaj Kapur. She said, “I separated from Pankaj Kapur when Shahid was three, when I was a very young girl. I have stopped overanalyzing and intellectualizing things, but introspection is always there to evolve. As you grow older, there are quite a few moments when you reflect on things. Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be; nobody gets married to separate, they get married to stay together forever.”

She had also spoken about her second marriage with Rajesh Khatter in a 2021 interview with Bollywood Bubble. Reflecting on difficult phases in life, she credited her sons Shahid and Ishaan for giving her strength and emotional support during tough times.

In her latest interview, Neelima said she has now learned to accept herself and stop carrying guilt for every mistake. She said, “I love myself the most besides my kids. I have never been tough on myself; I have been made to feel ashamed. I fought against it, and finally caved in. If I made mistakes in my life, I didn’t make them consciously, I didn’t do them to harm anybody, I slipped up, and you cannot be beating somebody up for life for that. Who is perfect?”

The knife attack on Saif Ali Khan during a robbery attempt at his Mumbai home in January 2025 had shocked many people across the country. However, years before that incident, his sister Soha Ali Khan had also experienced a burglary attempt at her house in Mumbai. In a recent interview, Soha spoke openly about the frightening moment and how Kunal Kemmu managed to stop the intruder.

Speaking to Yuvaa, Soha Ali Khan said, “When our house was broken into, and Kunal caught the thief many years ago, I stood in the corner and cried. It wasn’t my finest moment. I want to be kind to myself by saying that it was in the middle of the night, and I wasn’t prepared, but I definitely could’ve been more useful. I’m probably not the bravest person. My system tends to shut down when there’s something happening. I am working on it.”

In an older interview with Hauterrfly, Soha revealed that the burglary attempt happened in 2011 when she and Kunal were dating. She said, “My own flat was broken, and burgled 10 years ago, and Kunal caught the thief. So, for my mother, both her children’s flats in Mumbai have been broken into. So, then we feel like, oh, it’s quite close to home, literally. We don’t live in that house anymore, but when I lived there, it was on the first floor.”

She further explained that the couple heard a strange sound coming from outside their home during the early hours of the morning. When Kunal went to check, he saw a man trying to enter the house. The intruder tried to escape after being noticed but lost his balance while running away. Kunal managed to catch him and later handed him over to the police.

Soha also mentioned that such incidents usually happen at dawn because most people are deeply asleep at that time. She added that her flat was located on the first floor and was easily accessible from the road, which may have made it vulnerable.

In January last year, an intruder entered Saif Ali Khan’s Bandra residence with the intention of robbery. During the confrontation, Saif Ali Khan was stabbed and suffered multiple injuries, including injuries to his spine. Soha Ali Khan later described the incident as a “security lapse”. The actor was admitted to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery after the attack.
