Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna Reunite After 7 Years — Ranabaali First Look Sets Internet on Fire!

0

Tollywood’s most talked-about on-screen pair is finally reuniting. Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are officially back together in the upcoming epic action drama Ranabaali, previously known as VD14. Their reunion comes seven years after Dear Comrade, a film that cemented their chemistry and fan following. Now, with a grand historical spectacle in the making — and ongoing buzz about their real-life relationship — excitement has skyrocketed across social media.

The makers unveiled the first look of Ranabaali on Monday, January 26, delivering a visually arresting introduction to Vijay’s character. The teaser shows him as a fierce warrior on horseback, dragging a British officer across unforgiving terrain. The raw imagery signals rebellion, rage, and resistance — setting the tone for a story that promises to revisit a buried chapter of Indian history.

Sharing the glimpse, Vijay wrote, “The British called him a ‘Savage.’ I do not disagree. He was OUR savage! Introducing the one and only RANABAALI. And setting the record straight on our history which they tried to bury.” His words made it clear that the film aims to reclaim narratives overshadowed by colonial accounts.

Set in the 19th century, Ranabaali draws inspiration from real events that occurred between 1854 and 1878, positioning itself as a large-scale period action drama centered on resistance against British rule. With intense battle sequences, emotional depth, and historical gravitas, the film is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious projects in Vijay’s career.

Rashmika Mandanna plays Jayamma, a pivotal role expected to bring emotional strength and historical significance to the narrative. International actor Arnold Vosloo joins the cast as Sir Theodore Hector, adding global weight to the colonial storyline. Acclaimed composers Ajay-Atul are crafting the music, promising a thunderous soundtrack to match the film’s epic scale.

Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series, Ranabaali will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The theatrical release is locked for September 11, 2026.

Beyond cinema, Vijay and Rashmika continue to fuel headlines off-screen. Reports suggest the duo got engaged in October 2025 at Vijay’s Hyderabad residence in a private ceremony. Sources further claim they are planning a wedding on February 26 at a heritage palace in Udaipur, followed by a grand industry reception in Hyderabad. While the couple has not officially confirmed these details, their reunion in Ranabaali has only intensified public fascination — blending reel chemistry with real-life curiosity.

ENHYPEN’s SUNGHOON Chosen as Olympic Torchbearer — From Figure Skater to Global Icon

0

K-pop’s global phenomenon ENHYPEN is about to shine on one of the world’s grandest sporting stages — and at the heart of it is SUNGHOON, who has been officially selected as a torchbearer for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, set to open on February 6, 2026 (local time).

The invitation comes from Samsung Electronics, an official Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, marking a prestigious moment not only for SUNGHOON but also for K-pop’s growing cultural influence on global events. His selection carries special emotional weight, as SUNGHOON’s journey to the Olympic torch is deeply rooted in personal history.

Before captivating millions as a member of ENHYPEN, SUNGHOON was a competitive figure skater and a former member of South Korea’s national reserve team. His early life revolved around ice rinks, discipline, and athletic ambition — including dreams of one day competing at the Olympics himself. Now, years later, that dream returns in a new form, as he prepares to carry the torch that symbolizes peace, unity, and international friendship.

Since last year, SUNGHOON has also served as a promotional ambassador for the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, helping bridge the worlds of sports and popular culture. His role as a torchbearer beautifully unites his past as an athlete with his present as a global artist, creating a story of perseverance, evolution, and destiny fulfilled.

Adding to the milestone, SUNGHOON becomes only the second K-pop artist ever to participate in an overseas Olympic torch relay, underlining both his expanding international presence and the unstoppable rise of K-pop on the world stage.

Reflecting on the honor, SUNGHOON shared heartfelt words: he expressed admiration for athletes dedicating their lives to Olympic dreams, revealed his deep desire to cheer them on, and described this opportunity as a meaningful reconnection to a dream he once pursued as a young skater.

ENHYPEN’s connection to the Winter Olympics doesn’t end there. The group’s track “SHOUT OUT”, from their mini-album MANIFESTO : DAY 1, has been chosen as Team Korea’s official cheer song for the Milano Cortina 2026 Games — ensuring their music will echo across arenas and broadcasts worldwide.

Meanwhile, ENHYPEN continues to dominate the global music scene. Their latest release, THE SIN : VANISH, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, selling over 122,000 units and securing their fifth consecutive Top 5 entry, cementing their status as one of K-pop’s most powerful global acts.

From the ice rink to the Olympic torch, SUNGHOON’s journey is coming full circle — and the world will be watching.

Donald Trump Skips the Super Bowl and Calls Bad Bunny Halftime Show a “Bad Decision”

0

President Donald Trump will not be attending the Super Bowl this year, and his absence has sparked conversation not just because he is skipping the biggest sporting event in America, but because of what he had to say about it.

Trump reportedly called it a “bad decision” to have Bad Bunny perform at the halftime show. The comment immediately caught attention online, especially given Bad Bunny’s massive global influence and status as one of the most streamed artists in the world. For many fans, the criticism felt less about music and more about the ongoing cultural and political divide surrounding mainstream entertainment.

The halftime lineup, which also includes Green Day, has already generated debate even before kickoff. Trump’s remarks only added fuel to the fire, with social media users joking that his decision to skip the game means “one extra seat” for someone who actually wants to enjoy the performances.

Trump’s relationship with pop culture has long been tense. Over the years, he has frequently criticized artists, athletes, and entertainers who dominate mainstream platforms. His comments about Bad Bunny fit into that pattern, reinforcing how deeply entertainment and politics are now intertwined.

While the White House has not offered a detailed explanation for Trump’s absence beyond scheduling reasons, his public criticism of the halftime show has made the decision feel symbolic. The Super Bowl today is no longer just about football. It is a global cultural event, shaped by international artists, viral moments, and mass conversation.

Despite the controversy, the Super Bowl is expected to draw massive viewership as usual. Trump skipping the event is unlikely to impact ratings, but it has added another headline to an already charged moment in American pop culture.

Whether people agree with him or not, the reaction online makes one thing clear. Even when he is not in the stadium, Donald Trump still manages to be part of the Super Bowl conversation.

Nani’s The Paradise Delayed? Fresh Reports Hint at New Release Date

0

Excitement around Nani’s upcoming film The Paradise has reached new heights, but recent reports suggest fans may have to wait a little longer to see the much-anticipated movie on the big screen. While the makers had earlier announced a March 26, 2026 release date, fresh speculation indicates that the film’s theatrical launch could now be postponed to June.

According to reports by 123 Telugu, the team behind The Paradise is likely to miss the previously locked March date due to pending production work. Sources claim that June 25, 2026 is now being considered as the new release window. Though no official confirmation has been issued yet, the rumours have spread rapidly online, sparking debate and concern among fans eagerly awaiting Nani’s next big project.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time delay rumours have surfaced. Earlier speculation about a possible postponement was firmly dismissed by the makers. Taking to Instagram, the production team had shared a video celebrating director Odela Srikanth’s birthday while confirming that The Paradise would hit theatres as scheduled on March 26, 2026. The caption praised the director as “Introvert and calm by nature, extremely passionate and expressive on the sets,” and announced that the film would release in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, English, and Spanish — hinting at a grand pan-India vision.

However, the latest reports suggest the team may now be fine-tuning the film to ensure it meets high expectations. Adding to the excitement, sources claim that the first song from The Paradise is set to be released in February 2026 as part of the promotional campaign. While this too awaits official confirmation, the news has already thrilled fans who are eager for any glimpse of the film.

Earlier in March 2025, the makers unveiled a powerful promo titled Raw Statement, which immediately grabbed attention for its intense tone and raw storytelling. The teaser opened with a disclaimer — “raw truth, raw language” — setting the stage for a gritty narrative. A haunting voiceover spoke of forgotten communities, symbolised through crows, representing people who have long lived in suffering and neglect. The promo described a tale of hunger, rebellion, and a young man who unites this oppressed community and rises as their leader.

The striking visuals and thought-provoking metaphor of the crow community promised a story of revolution, identity, and empowerment — making The Paradise one of Nani’s most ambitious projects to date.

With rumours of a release delay, fans now await an official statement from the makers. Whether March or June, anticipation for The Paradise continues to soar, with audiences ready for Nani’s next powerful cinematic experience.

Chiranjeevi Breaks Silence on Casting Couch Allegations in Telugu Film Industry

0

The casting couch debate has long cast a shadow over film industries across the country, prompting difficult conversations about power, exploitation, and workplace ethics. Now, Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi has weighed in, offering a strong defence of the Telugu film industry and pushing back against claims of a widespread casting couch culture.

Speaking at the Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu event in Hyderabad on January 25, Chiranjeevi reflected on his decades of experience in cinema and described Tollywood as a largely professional and opportunity-driven space. The veteran actor stated that people who approach the industry with clarity, focus, and commitment can find genuine opportunities without compromising their dignity. Addressing the sensitive topic directly, he said, “There is no casting couch culture as such. It depends on the individual.”

Chiranjeevi explained that uncomfortable situations and unethical behaviour can exist in any profession, not just in cinema. According to him, maintaining strong personal boundaries and a clear understanding of one’s values can protect individuals from being taken advantage of. He also cautioned against labelling the entire film industry based on isolated incidents. “The industry is like a mirror — it reflects who you are,” he remarked, suggesting that integrity and intent shape one’s experiences within the profession.

His comments have drawn attention because they come at a time when several actors have shared unsettling stories from their early careers. Actress Saiyami Kher previously revealed that she faced an uncomfortable encounter when a female casting agent allegedly asked her to “compromise” for a role in the Telugu industry. Saiyami, who was only 19 or 20 at the time, said she chose to respond confidently and refused to feel intimidated by the situation.

Similarly, actor Fatima Sana Shaikh recently recounted an awkward casting call for a southern project. She described receiving repeated and suggestive remarks from a casting agent during a phone conversation, which left her uncomfortable. Fatima explained that she deliberately responded innocently to observe how the situation unfolded, highlighting how vulnerable newcomers can feel when navigating early opportunities.

Chiranjeevi’s statement has reignited debate online, with some praising him for defending Tollywood’s reputation, while others argue that individual experiences of exploitation deserve greater acknowledgement.

As conversations around safety, ethics, and power dynamics in entertainment continue to evolve, Chiranjeevi’s words have once again placed the spotlight on how the industry views accountability, professionalism, and personal responsibility.

Twinkle Khanna Reveals Her Honest Menopause Journey

0

Author and former actress Twinkle Khanna is embracing her fifties with refreshing honesty, humour, and self-awareness. The 52-year-old, who is also the wife of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, recently opened up about her wellness journey, menopause struggles, and the lifestyle changes that have helped her feel better — both physically and emotionally.

Taking to Instagram, Twinkle shared makeup-free photos of herself basking in afternoon sunlight at home. Along with the pictures, she posted a candid note that struck a chord with many women navigating similar experiences. “At 52 and make-up free, I’d love to say that all you need is some great afternoon sun to feel and look good. But menopause is not that generous,” she wrote. In her signature witty style, she added that menopause once made her feel like “a phone with a faulty charger,” joking that it was “a bigger b***h than I have ever been.”

Twinkle revealed that she feels much better now — not because she has “accepted her age gracefully,” but due to consistent effort and lifestyle shifts. She credited regular weight training, multiple supplements, reading and writing, and even embracing her “shallow side” by playing mahjong with her girlfriends for restoring balance in her life.

She also shared that she is still weighing the pros and cons of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), while listing the supplements she currently takes to manage the transition. These include Coenzyme Q10, NAD, Omega-3, Lion’s Mane, menopause support blends, iron, Vitamin D3 with K2, collagen, and magnesium glycinate. Twinkle reminded followers to consult doctors before trying anything, adding that what works for her may not work for others. She even invited women to share what helped them — or what didn’t — creating an open, supportive conversation around menopause.

Meanwhile, Twinkle and Akshay Kumar recently celebrated 25 years of marriage, marking the milestone with adventure and laughter. Sharing a video of the couple paragliding, Twinkle revealed that encouraging each other to try new things is the foundation of their relationship. In the clip, Akshay asks her if she’s sure about jumping, to which she nods confidently. When it’s his turn, he admits feeling pressure because his wife already did it first.

“The best part of our marriage? We always encourage each other to fly. Sometimes literally,” Twinkle captioned the post, celebrating 25 years of love, support, and shared leaps of faith.

From honest conversations about menopause to jumping off mountains, Twinkle Khanna continues to redefine aging — with courage, humour, and authenticity.

Ranbir Kapoor Confirms Animal Park Delay — Sequel Won’t Start Before 2027!

0

After the massive success of Animal, fans have been eagerly waiting for news about its much-anticipated sequel, Animal Park. Now, Ranbir Kapoor has finally shared a fresh update — and it looks like the wait will be longer than expected.

In a recent interview with Deadline Hollywood, Ranbir confirmed that Animal Park is still a few years away from going on floors. The actor revealed that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is currently busy with his next project, Spirit, which stars Prabhas in the lead. Only after Spirit is completed will Vanga return to the world of Animal. “The director is right now making another film. We should start that film in 2027. It’s a bit away,” Ranbir said, clarifying that production on Animal Park will not begin anytime soon.

While the delay may disappoint fans, Ranbir assured that exciting plans are already in motion for the sequel. When asked whether he had read the script, the actor revealed that Vanga has shared the broad creative vision for the next chapter. “He just kind of flirted with what he really wants to do with the movie. He wants to make it in three parts. The second part is called Animal Park,” Ranbir explained, confirming that the franchise is being developed as a trilogy.

Adding to the intrigue, Ranbir also disclosed that Animal Park will feature him in a double role — portraying both the protagonist and the antagonist. “We have been sharing ideas from the first film itself on how he wants to take the story forward. It’s very exciting because now I get to play two characters — the antagonist and the protagonist. It’s an extremely exciting project and an extremely original director, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it,” he said.

For viewers who haven’t seen Animal, Ranbir offered a hint about how the double role will unfold. He explained that the antagonist undergoes plastic surgery and becomes a body double of the protagonist, setting the stage for intense psychological and physical conflict.

Released on December 1, 2023, Animal followed the dark transformation of a son whose fractured bond with his father drives him toward vengeance and violence. The film starred Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Triptii Dimri, and emerged as a blockbuster at the box office.

With a trilogy plan, a double role twist, and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s signature intense storytelling, Animal Park is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious sequels in recent Bollywood — even if fans have to wait until 2027 to witness it.

Hrithik Roshan’s Father Rakesh Roshan Sells Pune Land for Rs 15 Crore — Inside the Mega Deal

0

The Roshan family is making headlines — not just in cinema, but in real estate as well. Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan’s father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, has reportedly sold a large land parcel in Pune for a staggering Rs 15 crore. The high-value deal has drawn attention to the family’s growing presence in India’s commercial property space.

According to real estate analytics firm CRE Matrix, Rakesh Roshan sold a 1.09-hectare plot located in Lohegaon village, Haveli taluka, Pune district. The property was purchased by CP Lands LLP, with the transaction officially registered on December 26, 2025. Reports reveal that stamp duty worth approximately Rs 1.05 crore was paid during the registration process, highlighting the scale of the deal.

But this Pune land sale is only one part of a larger real estate story unfolding within the Roshan household. Around the same time, Rakesh Roshan, his wife Pinkie Roshan, and their daughter Sunaina Roshan made significant commercial property investments in Mumbai. The family acquired seven office units in Andheri’s Vaidya West World One Aeropolis building for a combined value of Rs 27 crore.

Property registration records accessed through Square Yards show that Rakesh and Pinkie Roshan purchased five office units from Vaidya Spaces Private Limited, with the transactions registered on November 19. The total value of these five units stands at Rs 19.68 crore.

Rakesh Roshan acquired two of these office spaces, priced at Rs 3.27 crore and Rs 2.83 crore. The units offer carpet areas of 1,259 sq ft and 1,089 sq ft, respectively, and each comes with two dedicated car parking spaces. Registration charges were Rs 30,000 per unit, along with stamp duties of Rs 19.64 lakh and Rs 16.98 lakh.

Pinkie Roshan purchased three more office units in the same building for Rs 4.85 crore, Rs 5.28 crore, and Rs 3.43 crore. These offices range between 1,322 sq ft and 2,033 sq ft in carpet area and also include two parking spaces each. Stamp duty for her purchases totalled over Rs 81 lakh, along with standard registration fees.

Following her parents’ investments, Sunaina Roshan also entered the commercial property market. She purchased two office units on the eighth floor of the same building for a combined Rs 6.42 crore. Together, the spaces span 2,471 sq ft, with each unit registered at Rs 30,000.

Meanwhile, on the film front, Hrithik Roshan continues to remain in the spotlight after confirming that work has begun on his much-anticipated project Krrish 4. While the superstar prepares to return to the big screen, the Roshan family’s smart real estate moves are proving they are equally powerful off-screen too.

The Gallerist: Natalie Portman, Jenna Ortega, and Charli XCX Steal the Show at Sundance Premiere

0

The 2026 Sundance Film Festival received an unforgettable burst of star power — and dark humour — as Natalie Portman arrived with a dazzling ensemble cast to premiere The Gallerist. Directed by Cathy Yan, the film instantly became one of the most talked-about entries at the festival, thanks to its daring premise and heavyweight lineup.

The Gallerist made its world premiere on January 24 at Sundance. Portman, who both produces and stars in the film, takes on the role of Polina Polinski — a platinum-blonde, eccentric art dealer caught in a spiral of ambition, desperation, and moral chaos. According to the official Sundance synopsis, Polina is “a desperate gallerist who conspires to sell a dead body at Art Basel Miami.” The shocking logline alone was enough to spark curiosity long before the film’s debut.

During the post-screening Q&A, Portman addressed how much of herself she brought to the character — with a quick dose of self-aware humour. “I’ve never tried to sell a dead body before,” she joked, immediately drawing laughter from the audience. She added that while the role is far from autobiographical, the story’s themes resonated with her on a deeper level.

Portman explained that the film explores the strange alchemy of being an artist — where personal emotion becomes a marketable product. She described the process of creating art as both magical and unsettling, noting the tension between passion and survival that many creatives experience. According to her, The Gallerist speaks directly to those who make art but must also rely on the marketplace to continue doing what they love.

She also revealed that an early conversation with director Cathy Yan helped shape her understanding of Polina’s moral descent. Portman explained that the story reflects the slippery slope of compromise — the idea that small justifications gradually lead to shocking actions. Before one realizes it, she said, the character is metaphorically washing blood from her hands.

Joining Portman on stage for the discussion were Jenna Ortega, Charli xcx, Cathy Yan, and co-writer James Pedersen. Ortega and Charli both play significant roles in the film, which boasts a stacked supporting cast including Catherine Zeta-Jones, Sterling K. Brown, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Daniel Brühl, and Zach Galifianakis. Zeta-Jones was unable to attend the premiere due to travel constraints.

For Charli xcx, The Gallerist marks one of three acting projects debuting at Sundance this year, further expanding her presence beyond music.

The 2026 Sundance Film Festival runs from January 22 to February 1 in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah. This year’s edition is especially historic — it is the final Sundance to be hosted in Utah before the festival relocates to Boulder, Colorado in 2027, and the first to take place following the passing of founder Robert Redford.

With dark comedy, artistic ambition, and a fearless cast, The Gallerist has already cemented itself as one of Sundance’s most unforgettable premieres.
