Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders is finally out with a very much anticipated trailer, which promises a crime thriller series unlike any other before, in terms of it being dark, grittier, and even more complex. The trailer was launched on Tuesday by Netflix, which promises a nightmare scenario where behind every closed door, secrets live, and in every person who survives, a secret waits.

Directed by Honey Trehan and written by Smita Singh, this movie also sees Nawazuddin Siddiqui return as Inspector Jatil, a character that made a mark in the first part. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is joined by a host of main cast actors that include Chitrangda Singh, Rajat Kapoor, Radhika Apte, and Sanjay Kapoor, making this a very compelling and engaging movie story.

The two minutes and twenty-one seconds of the trailer introduce a haunted Bansal mansion wherein a wealthy family has been-butchered in a very mysterious manner. The rooms in the mansion are all locked from within and there is no suspect in sight. This prompts a visit from Inspector Jatil to unravel a mystery much bigger and darker than what meets the eye.

It’s evident that Chitrangda Singh’s role turns out to be one of the survivors and is depicted as being composed but disturbed. It’s also evident that Sanjay Kapoor is under suspicion. The roles of Rajat Kapoor and Radhika Apte add depth by consisting of characters that aren’t so straight. There’s emphasis put on one of the terrifying elements of this trailer – no person at this place turns out to be clean.
