Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got married in a traditional Telugu wedding on December 4. The couple made a first public appearance as a newlywed couple on December 6. Fans have been having a glimpse of their special day through a series of unseen pictures that Chaitanya’s uncle, Venkatesh Daggubati, has posted.
Heartwarming Moments from the Wedding
In a heartwarming photo shared by Venkatesh, he can be seen applying a kala tika (a black mark to ward off evil eyes) on Chaitanya’s cheek using a kajal stick. Chaitanya, seated on the floor wearing a garland, smiled warmly during the ritual. Another picture captured Chaitanya with his uncles Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati, while a group photo showed the entire family gathered amid a beautifully decorated venue adorned with marigold and rose flowers.

Visit to the Temple after Wedding
The newlywed couple were spotted for the first time, on December 6 at Andhra Pradesh’s Srisailam temple. Chaitanya had come wearing a white traditional white pancha and looked quite radiant in yellow saree was Sobhita. Behind them was Chaitanya’s father Nagarjuna in kurta and pyjama. Paparazzi shot the family entering the temple, it being time to celebrate this bonding within the family as much.

Nagarjuna shared his joy on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “Watching Sobhita and Chay begin this beautiful chapter together has been a special and emotional moment for me. Congratulations to my beloved Chay, and welcome to the family dear Sobhita you’ve already brought so much happiness into our lives.” His message reflected the family’s excitement over this new beginning.
Chaitanya and Sobhita’s Journey
Chaitanya and Sobhita reportedly dated for two years before getting engaged. This would be Chaitanya’s second marriage; he was formerly married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in an extravagant Goa wedding in 2017. The couple reportedly split in 2021.
