The much-anticipated trailer of ‘Param Sundari’, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra, has finally been released. Directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, the romantic drama is all set to hit theatres on August 29, 2025.

Love Blooms in God’s Own Country

Against the stunning Kerala landscape, the trailer serves up a visual treat of rain-lashed roadsides, idyllic backwaters, and centuries-old churches. The film’s narrative revolves around a carefree Delhi lad (Sidharth) who falls for a grounded, tradition-holding Kerala lass (Janhvi). Their two worlds collide, triggering conflict and intense chemistry, to create a cross-cultural love story that’s as picturesque as it is heart-wrenching.

With echoes of timeless Bollywood love stories, Param Sundari blends old-school romance with a modern edge, offering the charm of SRK-Kajol nostalgia while carving its own fresh identity.

What the Cast & Crew Say

Janhvi Kapoor called the role personally meaningful:
“Sundari’s grace and connection to her roots deeply resonate with my South Indian heritage. Shooting in Kerala was emotionally grounding for me.”

Sidharth Malhotra further added, “This movie is like the love stories I grew up watching as a child. It’s lovely, it’s charming, and Kerala just brings it alive in a very special manner.”

Tushar Jalota, the director, called the film a celebration of contrast, stating, “It’s about two worlds coming together and creating something magical. Kerala was the perfect location for that magic to happen.”
