In videos circulating on social media, Shehnaaz was seen posing warmly for the paparazzi in a mint-green Anarkali-style suit. The ensemble featured a solid-toned bodice and a broad, intricately designed gold border at the hem, lending a regal touch to the flowing skirt. Draped across her shoulders was a vibrant, multi-colored dupatta in shades of orange, pink, yellow, and green — adding a festive flair to her look. She completed her outfit with matching churidar bottoms, gold sandals, and minimal makeup — soft pink lips, dewy skin, and open, wavy hair framing her face with effortless elegance.

The star-studded screening also saw the presence of singer Jasmine Sandlas, who elevated the evening’s energy by performing the lively track Khaand Laggdi from Ikk Kudi. Sharing her excitement on Instagram, Jasmine wrote, “Congratulations Shehnaaz Gill. Everyone go watch Ikk Kudi.” Actress Avneet Kaur also joined the celebration, spreading joy as she danced to dhol beats and posed with the team.

Ahead of the premiere, Shehnaaz and the Ikk Kudi crew visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar to seek blessings — a heartfelt gesture that reflected the deep personal connection she holds with the film. Originally slated for a September 19 release, the movie faced a brief delay due to the Punjab floods, with the makers deciding to postpone it until the end of October.

Talking to IANS about the rescheduling of the release, Shehnaaz said, “Yes, we shifted the release to the 31st of October. The film is made especially for the Punjabis. If the people of Punjab don’t go to watch it, then it will not feel complete.”

Written and directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, Ikk Kudi delves into the emotional and social challenges faced by a young woman in finding a life partner within contemporary Punjabi society. More than her lead role, the film is close to Shehnaaz’s heart for being her maiden venture as a film producer, symbolizing creative satisfaction with a continued love for Punjabi cinema
