Drake Shock-Drops Three Albums in One Night: Iceman, Habibti and  Maid of Honour

Drake surprised fans by releasing not one, but three albums at once: Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour

Drake just pulled off one of the biggest surprise drops of his career. The rapper released three full-length albums simultaneously at midnight on Friday: Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour. The unexpected triple release was revealed at the end of Drake’s “Iceman Episode 4” livestream, where he announced that all three projects would arrive together. Shortly afterward, he revealed each album cover individually on Instagram.

Together, the three albums contain 43 tracks and feature a massive lineup of collaborators including Future, 21 Savage, Sexyy Red, Central Cee, Popcaan, PartyNextDoor, and several others.

The rollout for Iceman has been building for nearly two years.

Fans first began speculating about the project back in 2024 after Drake referenced “Iceman,” the iconic nickname of Tom Kazansky played by Val Kilmer in Top Gun. Around the same time, Drake posted a screenshot of a folder labeled “2.0 – Iceman,” further fueling rumors.

The official teasing began in July 2025 with the launch of his “Iceman Episode” livestream series on YouTube. Across multiple episodes, Drake previewed unreleased tracks including “What Did I Miss?,” “Which One” featuring Central Cee, and “Dog House” with July Wolf and Yeat.

Last month, Drake staged an elaborate promotional stunt in Toronto involving giant blocks of ice containing the release date for Iceman. A streamer eventually retrieved the hidden bag revealing the May 15 launch date before Drake later confirmed it online himself.

The triple release instantly sent social media into chaos, with fans debating which of the three albums would dominate streaming numbers first.

The move also marks another massive flex in Drake’s already record-breaking career, showing he still knows how to completely hijack the music conversation overnight.
