The makers of the upcoming horror film Kheti have officially revealed the movie’s first look. Featuring Jackie Shroff and Sharad Kelkar in lead roles, the film has already caught attention because of its dark rural setting and horror theme.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the first look and details of the project on social media. He wrote, “JACKIE SHROFF – SHARAD KELKAR HEADLINE RURAL HORROR FILM ‘KHETI’ – FIRST LOOK UNVEILED… #JackieShroff, #SharadKelkar, and #NehaSargam come together for the upcoming rural horror film #Kheti. The film is written and directed by Haris Imtiyaz Khan and produced by Sana Khan under the banner of BlackCanvas Studio. Along with Jackie Shroff and Sharad Kelkar, the cast also includes Neha Sargam, Virendra Saxena and Shaji Choudhary in important roles.
Meanwhile, Jackie Shroff is also preparing for the release of his upcoming film The Great Grand Superhero, which is scheduled to release on May 29. Speaking about the film, the actor shared, “With The Great Grand Superhero, we’re fulfilling every child’s dream. If your spirit stays young and your spine stays strong till 90, that itself makes you a superhero. Kids’ dreams should always come first.”
The movie is directed by National Award winning filmmaker Manish Saini and backed by Zee Studios and Amdavad Films. The film also stars Prateik Smita Patil, Bhagyashree Dasani, Sharat Saxena and others.
On the television front, Sharad Kelkar is currently seen in the show Tumm Se Tumm Tak. Speaking about changes in the television industry, the actor said, “Earlier, shows ran for years. Now, episodes are just 23 minutes long and attention spans have shrunk. Even casting dynamics have changed. It’s not just about talent anymore — it’s often about social media numbers.”
