Jio Studios and B62 Studios have plenty to celebrate as their political thriller Article 370 emerged as one of the biggest winners at the 72nd National Film Awards. The film won the prestigious Best Feature Film award, while lead actor Yami Gautam Dhar received the Best Actress honour for her powerful performance.
Music composer Shashwat Sachdev also won Best Music Direction, taking the film’s total to three major National Awards. The recognition highlights the film’s strong storytelling, memorable performances and impactful music, making it one of the most celebrated Indian films of the year.
Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar, Article 370 was praised for presenting an important chapter of modern Indian history in an engaging and thought provoking way.
