Pakistani actor Ukasha Gul’s recent mimicry of Kangana Ranaut on the show Showtime With Ramiz Raja has garnered widespread attention on social media. In the viral video, Ukasha, dressed in a black saree and pink blouse, perfectly imitated Kangana’s signature curly hairstyle and mannerisms.
Her comedic performance left hosts Ramiz Raja and Hina Niazi in splits, especially with her witty line, “I have seen two kinds of gents in my life married gents and detergents. Both are equally good at cleaning clothes.” The video quickly gained traction, with viewers praising Ukasha’s spot-on impression and voice modulation.

Reacting to the video, social media users from both Pakistan and India applauded her performance. Comments like “Stellar she is… how beautifully she changed her voice,” and “Now you are viral on Indian social media,” showed appreciation for her comedic timing and mimicry skills.
Kangana Ranaut, known for her outspoken personality, had previously addressed being a frequent subject of mimicry. In an interview from August, she expressed that she doesn’t get offended by such portrayals. On the contrary, she finds it flattering when someone imitates her with sincerity and captures her essence. She remarked, “Main kabhi second guess nahi karti ki ye mere baare me kya sochega… dekhte hain iska kya parinaam hoga”, indicating that she appreciates genuine efforts at mimicry.
Kangana, who is awaiting the release of her self-directed political drama Emergency, has remained unfazed by her portrayal in mimicry performances. While Emergency was originally slated for a September 2024 release, it has been delayed due to censor board issues and is awaiting a new release date. The film features a star-studded cast, including Shreyas Talpade, Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, and Mahima Chaudhary.
