A surprising incident took place on Monday outside Salman Khan’s famous Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai after a snake was spotted near the building. A snake rescuer was quickly called to the location to safely catch the reptile while officials also arrived to help manage the situation. Videos from the spot have now gone viral on social media, showing the rescuer calmly handling the snake and later handing it over to authorities.
According to reports, the snake was found below the apartment building where Salman Khan lives with his family. The rescuer carefully tracked the snake before catching it with his bare hands. In the viral visuals, he can be seen holding the snake by its tail and wrapping it around his hand while making sure it did not escape. He later placed the snake inside a bag so that officials could safely take it away from the area.
People online were surprised by how fearlessly the rescuer handled the snake. Many social media users pointed out that the reptile was probably non poisonous because of the calm way in which it was caught. However, officials have not yet shared detailed information about the species of the snake or whether it had entered the building before being rescued. While the snake rescue created buzz online, Salman Khan has also been making headlines because of his upcoming films and projects. After appearing in Tiger 3 in 2023, the actor was next seen in Sikandar in 2025. The film, directed by AR Murugadoss, did not perform as expected at the box office. Salman also made a cameo appearance in Raja Shivaji directed by Riteish Deshmukh. The film is based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and has become the highest grossing Marathi film so far, beating Sairat.
Currently, Salman is busy shooting for Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film was earlier titled Battle of Galwan but was later renamed. Salman will play Colonel B. Santosh Babu in the movie and has reportedly undergone a major physical transformation for the role. The film also stars Chitrangada Singh and is expected to release on August 14.
