The year is far from over. On August 28, Ridley Scott is scheduled to return with The Dog Stars, a post-apocalyptic drama adapted from Peter Heller’s acclaimed novel. At 88, Scott continues to maintain a pace that few filmmakers of any generation can match, adding yet another large-scale studio production to a career that has already produced classics such as Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator and The Martian.
