Nicole Kidman recently gave fans a glimpse of her Iceland vacation, but it was her natural curly hair that quickly caught everyone’s attention. The actress shared several pictures from her trip on Instagram, showing herself enjoying the beautiful surroundings while embracing her natural look.
“Beautiful country, trip of a lifetime,” she captioned the photos, while thanking Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection for the experience. In one picture, the 59 year old actress can be seen leaning against the railing of a large boat while wearing a gray sweater and jeans. Another photo showed her walking outside in the same knitwear with black leggings as her curly hair moved in the wind.
Kidman also shared a sweet moment with her sister Antonia. The sisters were seen hugging while the actress wore a black Moncler parka and boots. During some downtime, Kidman also enjoyed a dip in a hot tub wearing a blue ruffled bikini.
Her natural curls became one of the biggest talking points in the comments section. Fans were happy to see the actress showing her real hair, with many saying it reminded them of her earlier appearances.
“Curls are the best. Reminds me of your early movies,” one fan commented. Another wrote, “Beautiful hair curly – so natural and sexy and young💖✨✨✨✨.” A third fan simply reacted, “CURLS?! Looooove to see it”
Kidman has often changed her hairstyle for films, magazine shoots and red carpet appearances, and she is also known for wearing wigs for some of her roles and public appearances. However, she has increasingly been showing her natural curls when she is away from work. Earlier this year, she was seen at Sydney airport with her natural ringlets. She also showed off her curls while visiting a horse farm during the summer.
The actress is also entering a different stage in her personal life. Kidman separated from singer Keith Urban in September 2025 after 19 years of marriage, and their divorce was finalized in January.
More recently, the Practical Magic star spoke about being open to new possibilities in her life. “embracing love, staying open, keeping the heart open and the possibilities” is how she described her current outlook. Her comments came as she was reportedly seen spending time with Michael Reinstein, leading to dating speculation.
For now, Kidman’s Iceland trip appears to have given her a chance to relax, spend time with family and confidently embrace her natural curls.
