Bhumi Pednekar Opens Up About Her Weight Loss Journey

0

Bhumi Pednekar recently attended the International Film Festival Delhi 2026, where she shared her thoughts on how roles for women are changing in the entertainment industry. She said that while stories led by women seem to be reducing in mainstream cinema, OTT platforms are offering better and stronger opportunities for female actors.

Bhumi explained that digital platforms have created space for more meaningful storytelling. She said, “I feel with OTT, especially for women, the narrative has become a lot stronger because a lot of those shows, a lot of those films are led by women, which is maybe shrinking in mainstream cinema.” She also expressed her concern about this shift in films and added, “Unfortunately, it’s really heartbreaking that that’s happening.”

She began her acting journey with the film Dum Laga Ke Haisha in 2015, where she played a very different and realistic character. Over the years, she has chosen roles that focus on real life issues and strong storytelling. Some of her well known films include Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Bala and Saand Ki Aankh. These films helped her build a reputation for choosing meaningful roles.

Bhumi also pointed out that OTT platforms have allowed actresses to take on more layered and bold characters. She said, “But at the same time, there’s a rise of these platforms where we get great opportunities. So absolutely, I think women have always been a lot more courageous, and they are a lot more brave while choosing their scripts.” She further added, “And I think OTT just kind of gives them the right platform.”

She has continued to take on challenging roles in recent years. In Badhaai Do, she played a closeted lesbian, while films like Bheed, Afwaah and Bhakshak also dealt with serious social themes.

Most recently, she was seen in the series Daldal, a psychological crime thriller created by Suresh Triveni and directed by Amrit Raj Gupta. The show is based on the novel Bhendi Bazaar by Vish Dhamija. It follows DCP Rita Ferreira, the youngest officer to lead the Mumbai Crime Branch, as she investigates a dangerous serial killer case in the city.

Tiger Shroff Reveals His Biggest Fear Behind Action Hero Image

0

Tiger Shroff, who is known for his action packed roles and daring stunts, has shared a personal struggle that many may not expect. The actor recently spoke about his fear of flying, also known as aerophobia, and said he is thinking about taking therapy to deal with it. His statement has caught attention because it is very different from his strong and fearless image seen in films.

In a conversation with Lilly Singh, Tiger explained how this fear started. He said that a bad experience on a flight a few years ago had a strong impact on him. “I’m actually planning to go to a therapist because I have aerophobia. A couple of years ago, I was on a very turbulent flight and… I don’t have control over a turbulent flight, right? What do I do? Ever since then, every time I have to board a flight, I have anxiety a couple of days prior. For some reason, I’m still not able to get over that,” he said.

Tiger further shared that even though he knows flying is considered very safe, it does not help him feel calm during the experience. He said that the main issue is the feeling of not being in control. “The statistics say that flying is the safest means of transport. I have spoken to many pilots who all said that turbulence is nothing but just like bumpy roads. That’s the analogy they keep giving me. But who’s going to tell my mind that? When it happens, it’s a different story altogether. I wish I had control over that. I like controlling every part of my body. I like knowing what I’m doing.”

The actor also spoke about how overthinking affects other parts of his life. He said that even small daily decisions can become difficult at times. “Sometimes it’s really frustrating because I’m so indecisive at times as well, even about how to schedule my day so that I can maximise my potential.”

Tiger Shroff started his career with the film Heropanti in 2014, directed by Sabbir Khan. Since then, he has mostly worked in action films. His popular movies include War, Heropanti 2, Ganapath, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Singham Again and the Baaghi series. These films have helped build his image as an action star known for fitness and stunts.

Despite his on screen confidence, Tiger’s honest sharing about his fear shows a different and more personal side of his life. He was last seen in Baaghi 4.

The classics turned me to Daddy Warbucks
The stables for the ‘Raris and Porsches
The famе was only gettin’ me more buzzеd (Named you the king)
Some of my loved ones turned lost ones

The pain was truly blurrin’ my thoughts up

Kathanar Trailer: Jayasurya and Anushka Shetty Unleash a Supernatural Power

0

The trailer of Kathanar has been released, giving viewers a first look at what the film has to offer. It is a period dark fantasy thriller that aims to present a different kind of cinematic experience. The trailer begins with a strong line, “An intricate web of illusion that astonishes everyone in ways no one can even imagine,” which sets the tone for what follows. It feels like an announcement before a big performance, building curiosity among viewers. A young boy in the crowd is shown watching with excitement, reflecting the kind of reaction the makers hope to create.

Kathanar introduces Jayasurya as Kathanar, shown as a protector who stands by people in difficult times. As the trailer moves forward, it also gives a glimpse of Anushka Shetty, who is making her Malayalam debut with this film. Her character appears to bring positivity and warmth to those around her.

The film is said to be based on the story of Kadamattathu Kathanar, a Christian priest believed to have lived in the 9th century and known in folklore for having special powers. However, the trailer suggests that this version of the story will be presented in a fresh and different way, unlike earlier adaptations.

The 178 second trailer introduces the setting of Kanthalloor Sala, which is described as an ancient centre of learning and is often compared to Nalanda in South India. A voice in the trailer says, “No matter what the forms or sources of the knowledge are, Kanthalloor Sala will welcome them with an open heart. However, I do not believe in sorcery or magic,” suggesting a logical and knowledge driven environment. Soon after, the tone changes as the trailer hints at the presence of dark forces, creating a sense of mystery and tension.

The film features a wide cast that includes Prabhudeva along with Sanoop San, Sandy, Devika, Niteesh Bharadwaj, Vineeth, Harish Uthaman, Srikanth Murali and Kulprit Yadav. The film is directed by Rojin Thomas, who has also worked on editing and visual effects direction, along with co writing the script with R Ramanand.

The technical team includes cinematographer Neil D Cunha, music composer Rahul Subrahmanian and production designer Rajeevan. The film is expected to release during the monsoon season this year.

Apart from Malayalam, Kathanar will also be released in multiple languages including English, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Chinese, French, Korean, Italian, Russian, Indonesian, Japanese and German. This wide release shows that the makers are aiming to reach audiences beyond regional boundaries.

Priyanka Chopra Performs Seva In Amritsar’s Golden Temple Goes Viral

Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently returned to India after attending the Oscars 2026. Soon after her arrival, she was seen at the Amritsar airport, where she greeted fans and posed for pictures with them. During her visit, a video of her at the Golden Temple has gone viral on social media.

In the video, Priyanka is seen performing seva at Sri Darbar Sahib. She is shown cleaning utensils along with other women, which is a common form of voluntary service at the temple. She is dressed in a simple baby pink traditional outfit and has her head covered with a dupatta, following the customs of the place. The video was shared by a user on X, earlier known as Twitter, and quickly gained attention online.

After the clip was shared, many people reacted positively. Several users appreciated her for staying connected to her roots and taking part in such activities. One user wrote, “Good to see that she did not forget her roots.” Another user commented, “Waheguru ji.” One of the comments also read, “Wow, being sikh have not done much seva.” The video has been widely shared and discussed across social media platforms.

Apart from visiting the temple, Priyanka also shared a glimpse of her time in the city through her Instagram stories. She posted about enjoying local food, specifically chole kulche, and wrote, “Just Amritsar things…” This added to the attention around her visit.

The exact reason for her trip to Amritsar has not been officially confirmed. However, many people online are guessing that it could be related to her upcoming film project. Priyanka is set to return to Indian cinema with the film Varanasi, directed by SS Rajamouli. She will be seen alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the film, which is expected to release on April 7, 2027.

Recently, during the premiere of The Bluff, Priyanka spoke about this project and shared her excitement. She said, “The filmmaker’s name is SS Rajamouli sir, and he is one of the best that we have in India. His movie is going to be really career-defining for me, I think and I am very excited about it.”

Her visit to Amritsar, along with her public appearance at the Golden Temple, has once again brought her into the spotlight and sparked interest among fans.

Future Faces Legal Heat as Brittni Mealy Pushes for Jail Over Court Order Dispute

0

Future is facing fresh legal trouble as his ex-partner Brittni Mealy has reportedly moved court demanding serious action, including possible jail time, over an alleged violation of a prior court order. According to legal filings, Mealy claims that Future failed to comply with a 2023 directive that required him to secure a $500,000 life insurance policy, naming her as trustee for their son, Prince. The order was part of a broader financial arrangement that also saw his monthly child support payments increased from $3,000 to $5,000.

Mealy is now asking the court to hold the rapper in contempt, a move that could potentially lead to incarceration until the issue is resolved. The demand signals a significant escalation in what had previously been a financial and custodial matter.

So far, Future has not publicly responded to the latest petition, leaving the situation hanging in legal uncertainty. However, cases involving non-compliance with court-mandated financial protections, especially those tied to child welfare, are often treated seriously by courts.

The development adds to the rapper’s ongoing history of high-profile legal and personal disputes, which have frequently played out in the public eye. While Future continues to maintain his dominance in the music industry, this case underscores how personal legal battles can quickly shift the narrative around even the biggest global artists.

If the court sides with Mealy, the consequences could extend beyond financial penalties, potentially impacting Future’s public image and professional commitments depending on how the case unfolds.

I need, I need (What you need, twin?)
I need (What you need?)
I need, I need

I need the whole stadium to jump
Put your phone down, let’s get all the fun
I got my eyes on the row in the front
The vibe is high, if we bein’ blunt
The vibe is high, let the building (Hey)
B-T-uh, from everywhere to Korea
Guns, knives, keyboards, put all that away
Life is short, ditch the hate
It’s big in real life
Why get hung on saving face, drop it, ya dude
Hop in
Come a little closer, skin to skin

I need some body to body
All of your body beside me
Hand in hand, so we reach that moon, you and I, we on and on, yeah
Sunrise, but we don’t go home

Somebody like you, ayy
Somebody like you, oh
Somebody like you, ayy
Somebody like you, somebody like, everybody like you

It’s so tight
I mean, the things between us
I mean, our own different style
I mean, we livin’ the life
Tonight, we won’t be shutting our eyes, uh
The spirit of our kin surgin’ up, mm
Be about it, be about it, be about it
You could see about it or you read about it

I need some body to body
All of your body beside me
Hand in hand, so we reach that moon, you and I, we on and on, yeah
Sunrise, but we don’t go home

Somebody like you, ayy
Somebody like you, oh
Somebody like you, ayy
Somebody like you, somebody like
Everbody like you, ayy
Somebody like you, oh
Somebody like you, ayy
Somebody like you, somebody like, everbody like you

Arirang, Arirang, Arariyo
Crossing over the Arirang hill
The one who leaves me behind
Won’t go ten miles before their feet hurt

I need the whole stadium to jump
Put your phone down, let’s get all the fun
You at the side, at the back, at the front

Destiny, you know what I want to be
Destiny, so please don’t you lie to me
Who am I supposed to be?
Should I change what’s close to me?
Or is it all destiny?
Destiny, don’t lie to me

I never quit going hard enough
Never quit showing everyone
Never quit killing what I touched
Never quit when it got too much
It got too much often
It got too much quickly
It got me, but it never got in me
I thought that it’d get me back when they would never quit making fun of me
Never quit saying wannabe
Never quit those comparisons
Never quit

How embarrassing

Don’t you remember which school suspension made my feet work early?
Don’t you remember me hiding myself just so you don’t hurt me?
Never quit when I should have quit
Never quit once a bully when I could duck under fists and laugh at the joke he’s pushing with
I never quit staying versatile, but I quit taking personal
Then I quit caring who meant it, ’cause I quit taking opinions
Never quit tryna be better
Never quit, never surrender
Never quit stacking these letters
Never quit putting in pressure
However, whoever, whenever, never quit being me
Who better? You better? None better
I never seen defeat

I never quit running
Running when the gun go off
I never quit gunning
Gun to my head, still none of y’all would ever see me slow my roll
Highest on the totem pole, destiny my only goal

Man atkeya beparwah de nal
Man atkeya beparwah de nal
Us deen duni de shah de nal
Haan, deen duni de shah de nal

I’m tryna listen to pain, umbrella the rain, and lower the shame
When the shame come, then my brain go numb
I’m tryna listen to pain, umbrella the rain, and lower the shame
When the shame come, then my brain go numb
When you feel the shame, what does it do to you?
I mean, you gonna let it kill you or you gonna let it breathe?
Don’t take me as a joke, just take me how I is
A kid who don’t know how to stop and don’t know how to quit

No, I never quit running
Running when the gun go off
I never quit gunning
Gun to my head, still none of y’all would ever see me slow my roll
Highest on the totem pole, destiny my only goal

Man ki chah puran kar do
Man ki chah puran kar do, bairag bhaya

Man atkeya beparwah de nal
Man atkeya beparwah de nal
Us deen duni de shah de nal
Haan, deen duni de shah de nal

Destiny, you know what I want to be
Destiny, so please don’t you lie to me
Who am I supposed to be?
Should I change what’s close to me?
Or is it all destiny?
Destiny, don’t lie to me
