Prajakta Koli’s Novel Set To Become A Netflix Web Series

0

Prajakta Koli, who is widely known for her role in the web series Mismatched alongside Rohit Saraf, is preparing for a new project. According to reports, Netflix India is working with her on a web series based on her own novel.

As per information shared by Variety India, her book “Too Good To Be True” is being adapted into a web series. The production of the series is expected to begin in the second half of this year. Prajakta Koli will not only act in the series but will also be involved as a producer. This project marks another step forward in her career, which started on YouTube and later expanded into acting, writing, and content creation.

Her earlier work includes the popular Netflix series Mismatched and films like Jug Jugg Jeeyo and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. She was also recently seen in the web series Single Papa, which featured Kunal Kemmu and Neha Dhupia.

The novel “Too Good To Be True” was published in January 2025. It is a light and modern love story that follows Avani, a law student who works part time at a bookshop, and Aman, a successful CEO. The story shows how their relationship develops slowly over time. It also talks about their personal struggles, healing from past experiences, and dealing with life in their 20s. The story is mainly set in Mumbai and includes simple and relatable conversations.

Prajakta Koli will play the role of Avani in the series. The actor for Aman has not yet been finalised and will be decided after the script is ready. The director of the series has also not been announced so far.

Prajakta had started writing this story during the lockdown. At that time, she planned to make it into a long format screen project, but later decided to publish it as a novel. Now, the story is returning to its original idea as a web series.

On the work front, she will also be seen in the fourth and final season of Mismatched, which is expected to release soon on Netflix India. She is also part of Operation Safed Sagar, directed by Oni Sen. The series features Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill, Abhay Verma, and Mihir Ahuja in key roles. She is also expected to return in Single Papa season 2, which was announced in January this year.

Avatar The Last Airbender Season 2 Finally Gets a Release Date and It Means the Story Is About to Get Bigger

0

Avatar: The Last Airbender is officially returning on Netflix on June 25, and this is where the story actually starts to expand in scale, tone and character depth. Season 1 was about setup. It introduced Aang, the world, and the emotional weight of being the Avatar. Season 2 is where the narrative begins to sharpen. The stakes are higher, the enemies are more aggressive, and the journey becomes less about discovery and more about responsibility.

Aang has already begun mastering waterbending, but now the focus shifts to earthbending, which brings in one of the most important characters from the original story. Toph enters the world, and that changes everything. Her presence is not just about power, it is about perspective, discipline and a completely different way of understanding strength.

At the same time, the Fire Nation storyline continues to evolve. Zuko is no longer just chasing the Avatar. His arc starts to move inward, becoming more layered and conflicted. That internal tension is what gave the original series its emotional edge, and the live action now has the space to explore it properly.

What makes this rollout interesting is how Netflix is treating the show as a long term investment rather than a seasonal experiment. Seasons 2 and 3 were produced back to back, which signals confidence in the story and a clear plan to complete the narrative without long gaps.

This also solves one of the biggest issues with streaming shows, where delays kill momentum. Here, the intention is to keep audiences engaged continuously, allowing the story to unfold like a complete saga instead of fragmented seasons.

The production itself is scaling up. Multiple locations across France, including high profile heritage properties, are being used to build a more immersive world. This is not just about visual upgrade but about making the universe feel lived in and expansive.

Casting additions also reflect that shift. New characters are not just supporting roles but essential pieces of the larger arc. Each one pushes the story closer to its endgame, where all four elements, all nations and all conflicts collide.

The show is still rooted in a familiar structure, but the tone is expected to mature. As Aang moves closer to mastering all elements, the emotional cost of that journey becomes harder to ignore. The balance between hope and consequence is what will define this season.

Season 2 is not just a continuation. It is the turning point where the story moves from introduction to transformation.

The celebration ended on a positive note, bringing people together and strengthening cultural ties. It highlighted the pride people feel for Bihar, even when they are living far from home, and made the event memorable for everyone present.

Poonam Pandey’s Baby Bump Shocker Turns Out To Be A Prank

0

Poonam Pandey created a lot of buzz on social media on March 31 after she shared pictures showing a baby bump. In the post, she announced that she was expecting her first child. Many people believed the news and congratulated her, while others felt something was not right and suspected it could be a publicity stunt.

On April 1, Poonam shared another post on her Instagram account and cleared the confusion. She revealed that the pregnancy announcement was actually an April Fool prank. In a video message, she explained her reason behind doing it and asked people not to take things too seriously, especially during stressful times.

In the video, she said, “Guys, thank you so much for your lovely wishes. Lekin mein pregnant nahi hu. Guys aaj April Fool day hai, prank tha yaar. Waise hi war chal raha hai, puri duniya waise hi stress me hai, maine socha mein tumlog ko thodha sa entertain karti hu. Mein tehri Poonam Pandey, mera haq banta hai aapko shock karne ka. Itna seriously mat lo yaar life ko, thodha chill maaro. Hai na!” She ended the video by singing an April Fool song.

After she posted the video, many users quickly reacted in the comments section. Some people said they had already guessed it was a prank. One user commented, “Pata tha mujhe.” Another wrote, “Apun ne toh kal ich likh dala thha “Nice prosthetic” beedu!!!” However, not everyone found it funny. A few users said they did not like the prank and felt it was unnecessary. One comment read, “Ye accha nahi kiya aap ne.”

This is not the first time Poonam has done something like this. In 2024, she had shocked everyone by announcing her own death on social media. Her team claimed that she died due to cervical cancer on February 1, 2024. The next day, on February 2, she appeared and revealed that it was a publicity stunt meant to spread awareness about cervical cancer. That move had also received strong criticism, with many people calling it inappropriate.

On the work front, Poonam was last seen in the reality show Lock Upp, which was hosted by Kangana Ranaut. The show was won by Munawar Faruqui.

Overall, while her latest prank did grab attention, it also received mixed reactions from the public, with some finding it entertaining and others criticizing it.

Check out BTS – Like Animals Song Lyrics

Ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

Take me into your deep
I wanna lay in your world
So what, your shadow’s a mess
I’m walkin’ with my own dirt

We can go all night
Don’t you close your eyes
Don’t you fear the light
All night

If you wanna be animals
Baby, we can be animals
Eat this life ’til your heart is full (‘Til your heart is full)
If you want, you can have it all (You can have it all, oh)

[Verse 2: RM, Jung Kook]
Six feet down in the sand
There’s creatures that made a hole
Do speak, I’m begging you, please
There’s beauty outside control (Outside)

Oh, we can go all night (Go all night)
We can go all night (We can go all night)
Yeah, we should go all night
All night

If you wanna be animals
Baby, we can be animals
Eat this life ’til your heart is full (‘Til your heart is full)
If you want, you can have it all (You can have it all, oh)

Got you in the wild
Somewhere so far
With your claws sharp
And them fangs out
Now you see a whole land full of animals
None of us are tameable
None of us are tameable
(Oh-oh-oh)
Heart (Oh-oh-oh)
Untameable
(Oh-oh-oh) Go (Take it all)
And take it all

If you wanna be animals
Baby, we can be animals
Eat this life ’til your heart is full (Heart, untameable)
If you want, you can have it all (Heart is, take it all, oh)

Dakota Johnson Reveals Why Being Polite Cost Her A Role

0

Dakota Johnson recently shared an unusual experience from her early career that left her surprised. The actor spoke about a past audition where her polite behaviour was misunderstood and may have cost her a role. During an interview on Hits Radio, Dakota recalled attending a callback audition.

She did not mention the name of the project but explained how she entered the room and greeted everyone in what she believed was a normal and respectful way. “I went into the room and I shook everyone’s hand and introduced myself,” she said while describing the moment.

After performing her scene, she left the audition thinking everything had gone well. However, the feedback she later received was unexpected. According to Dakota, her actions were not taken in the way she intended. “And then I did the scene and I left. And the feedback I got was that because I had gone and introduced myself and shook everyone’s hand, that I was, like, pompous, that I was schmoozing and full of myself.”

She said this reaction confused her, as she could not understand how basic manners could be seen negatively. “I was like, what? I didn’t get the job because they said that I was being cocky.” Reflecting on the incident, she added, “I just had manners.”

Dakota Johnson appeared on the show while promoting her latest film Splitsville, which has been released in the United Kingdom after its earlier release in the United States in September. The film is directed by Michael Angelo Covino and explores relationships and marriage in a realistic way.

In the film, Dakota plays the role of Julie. She stars alongside Adria Arjona, Kyle Marvin, Nicholas Braun, David Castañeda and O-T Fagbenle. Talking about her role, she shared her interest in playing complex characters. “Sometimes it’s nice to play people who are deeply unhappy and messy,” she said. She further added, “People really identify with the messiness. And it’s so funny to me… I like that people are like, ‘Ooh, I like this movie because it’s real.'”

Looking ahead, Dakota will next appear in Verity, directed by Michael Showalter and based on a novel by Colleen Hoover. She will act alongside Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett.

Apart from acting, she is also preparing for her first film as a director titled A Tree is Blue, which is expected to begin production later this year.

Bhumi Pednekar Opens Up About Her Weight Loss Journey

0

Bhumi Pednekar recently attended the International Film Festival Delhi 2026, where she shared her thoughts on how roles for women are changing in the entertainment industry. She said that while stories led by women seem to be reducing in mainstream cinema, OTT platforms are offering better and stronger opportunities for female actors.

Bhumi explained that digital platforms have created space for more meaningful storytelling. She said, “I feel with OTT, especially for women, the narrative has become a lot stronger because a lot of those shows, a lot of those films are led by women, which is maybe shrinking in mainstream cinema.” She also expressed her concern about this shift in films and added, “Unfortunately, it’s really heartbreaking that that’s happening.”

She began her acting journey with the film Dum Laga Ke Haisha in 2015, where she played a very different and realistic character. Over the years, she has chosen roles that focus on real life issues and strong storytelling. Some of her well known films include Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Bala and Saand Ki Aankh. These films helped her build a reputation for choosing meaningful roles.

Bhumi also pointed out that OTT platforms have allowed actresses to take on more layered and bold characters. She said, “But at the same time, there’s a rise of these platforms where we get great opportunities. So absolutely, I think women have always been a lot more courageous, and they are a lot more brave while choosing their scripts.” She further added, “And I think OTT just kind of gives them the right platform.”

She has continued to take on challenging roles in recent years. In Badhaai Do, she played a closeted lesbian, while films like Bheed, Afwaah and Bhakshak also dealt with serious social themes.

Most recently, she was seen in the series Daldal, a psychological crime thriller created by Suresh Triveni and directed by Amrit Raj Gupta. The show is based on the novel Bhendi Bazaar by Vish Dhamija. It follows DCP Rita Ferreira, the youngest officer to lead the Mumbai Crime Branch, as she investigates a dangerous serial killer case in the city.
