While promotion of KAI PO CHE! has kick-started and the film is all set for 22nd February release, for Chetan Bhagat it would be a double bill of sorts as soon after that work would also begin for cinematic adaptation of his other book ‘Revolution 2020’.

“UTV has the book and they are putting together a team of director and other people. After KAI PO CHE they will work on ‘Revolution 2020’ as well,” informs a source.
When asked if he was involved in any creative decisions pertaining to casting for the film, Chetan Bhagat said, “Well, for my book adaptations, I leave the casting part to the producer and director. If they desire, they may run past the names with me and if I feel that it is okay then that’s fine. Even otherwise it is fine with me because such decisions are entirely a director’s prerogative,” he adds.

This is the reason why even for KICK, the film for which he is re-writing it’s screenplay, he is making the film with only Salman Khan in mind and isn’t overtly conscious about the leading lady who would be stepping in.
“In any case, I don’t think that we are at a stage where I can start seeing a particular actress,” he shrugs away.
