What a moment to reckon with! Back then in 90s T-Series head honcho and co-producer Gulshan Kumar recorded Rahul Roy & Anu Aggarwal starrer super hit film AASHIQUI music at Sudeep Studios in Khar. Now years later, his son Bhushan Kumar, who is currently heading T-series after Gulshan Kumar’s demise, revisiting history, launched the first look and music of AASHIQUI 2, remake of the original, at the same studio.

For years the studio was in a dilapidated state. However, producer Bhushan Kumar, as an ode to his father, revived and restored the studio for AASHIQUI 2.
The whole Bhatt camp and T-series family was present at the launch event. The strategic decision to launch the music & first look turned into an emotional moment as the entire team came together. Mahesh Bhatt, who made the original AASHIQUI, played a perfect host and made the environment nostalgic as he walked down the memory lane along with T-series family, son Bhushan Kumar, daughter Tulsi Kumar, brother Kishan Kumar. Mahesh spoke of his long association with T-Series.

The gen-next director-producer – Mohit Suri, who has taken the baton of directing AASHIQUI, along with producer Bhushan Kumar posed for the shutterbugs, exhibiting the age-old strong bond between Vishesh Films and T-series.
Moreover, Gulshan Kumar’s grandson, 18-month old Ruhaan Kumar, son of Bhushan Kumar & Divya Kumar Khosla, who was also present, hold the music CD of the film at the unveiling session.
