With these earnings, the movie’s total collection has reached Rs. 54.75 crore nett in India.
Based on its current performance, trade estimates suggest that Alpha is likely to complete its theatrical run with around Rs. 56 crore nett. The film has seen a steady decline in collections after its opening week, making it difficult to maintain momentum at the box office. As the theatrical run enters its final phase, only limited collections are expected over the coming days.
The film’s performance has been affected by mixed audience response. In general, films that receive strong word of mouth often continue to attract viewers over several weeks. However, Alpha did not experience that kind of sustained growth, which limited its chances of enjoying a longer and stronger run in cinemas.
The film also faced a challenging market situation. Female led action films have traditionally found it difficult to attract large audiences at the Indian box office.
