Gulshan Devaiah is excited about the release of his upcoming film, “Ulajh,” which features Janhvi Kapoor. The trailer of the film, which was unveiled, provided a glimpse of Gulshan’s role. Concurrently, the actor hosted an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session, where he candidly answered various fan questions.

When asked about the possibility of a second season for the show “Afsos,” Gulshan humorously responded with, “Bhul jaa (forget it)!” This response, though brief, reflected his candid nature.

In response to which film he would like to steal from another actor’s filmography, Gulshan chose “Andhadhun,” a 2018 thriller directed by Sriram Raghavan, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu, and Radhika Apte.

A fan inquired about his feelings towards filming intimate scenes early in his career compared to now. Gulshan expressed that he found them very boring then and continues to find them boring now, but acknowledged that audiences enjoy watching them.

Regarding his participation in the bold LGBTQIA+ themed film “Badhaai Do,” a fan asked if he believed it could impact his career negatively and whether it paved the way for more such films in Indian cinema. Gulshan confidently stated that he never thought it would hurt his career and that more films like it would be made, emphasizing that a love story is universal.

When asked which actor he would like to work with, he mentioned Sai Pallavi. Reflecting on his career journey, he acknowledged that although he was initially fortunate to receive good opportunities from good people, the real struggle began afterward as he had to learn a lot about the business.

Gulshan Devaiah’s next project, “Ulajh,” is produced by the same team behind notable films like “Raazi,” “Badhaai Do,” and “Talvar.” Directed by National Award-winning director Sudhanshu Saria, the film also features Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, and Adil Hussain in significant roles. “Ulajh” is set to release in theatres on August 2.
