For the uninformed, Capsaicin is, reportedly, a chief ingredient in a genre of cosmetics that makes lips look fuller by irritating the skin… and finds application in a segment called ‘lip-plumpers’.

Anushka Sharma earned curiosity by the cartloads for her fuller-lips that looked all pouty and bee-stung in the ‘Koffee With Karan’ episode televised recently.
In the wake of all the hype and hoopla … the BOMABY VELVET actress, rankled beyond measure, slashed all rumours about her alleged ‘lip-job’ and issued her clarification on a micro-blogging site.
Anushka Sharma’s statement goes: ”For a short while now I have been using a temporary lip enhancing tool and that along with make-up techniques (I have learnt over the years) is the reason why there might be a change in the appearance of my lips.”
The ”lip-enhancing tool”, read lip-plumper, is the real culprit, as per the vivacious YRF protege.

Nargis Fakhri, who zoomed into cinebiz with ROCKSTAR, however, has candidly admitted to a generous use of lip-plumpers in her make-up routine.
”I’m addicted to the use of a lip-plumper and it is one thing that I cannot do without now,” the sensuous MAIN TERA HERO gal is quoted to have said.
