Neha Dhupia recently spoke about her pregnancy journey and shared a personal experience from that time. She revealed that her contractions began while she was shooting at Yash Raj Studios, something she did not expect while continuing her work. Neha appeared on Parineeti Chopra’s talk show titled Mom Talks, where she discussed how she managed both her professional and personal responsibilities. The show focuses on conversations with parents and their experiences with raising children.
During the discussion, Neha explained that she chose to keep working throughout her pregnancy. She said she worked until eight and a half months and did not want to step away from her commitments. Talking about this, she said, “As a woman, you should be able to do all the things you wish to do after becoming a mom. The needle shouldn’t change too much.” She further added, “I wanted to go back to work. I worked right till the end, till eight and a half months pregnant. My contractions actually started at Yash Raj Studios.”
She also spoke about the expectations that society often places on women after they become mothers. According to her, women should have the freedom to make their own choices, whether it is about work or family life.
Neha Dhupia is married to Angad Bedi. The couple has two children. Their daughter Mehr was born in November 2018, and their son Guriq was born in October 2021. Mehr is now 7 years old, while Guriq is around four.
Meanwhile, Parineeti Chopra, who hosts the show, recently became a mother herself. She welcomed her son Neer in October last year with her husband Raghav Chadha.
