Sanjay Dutt Drops Khalnayak Returns And Fans Relive The 1993 Magic

0

More than three decades after the release of Khalnayak, Sanjay Dutt has officially announced its sequel titled Khalnayak Returns. The announcement was made on April 24, and it quickly caught the attention of fans. The first look featured the familiar tune of the famous song Khal Nayak Hoon Main, which added to the excitement. Sharing the news, Dutt wrote, “Kuch kahaani khatam nahi hoti… woh dobara shuru hoti hai. Khalnayak Returns.” Details about the cast and release date have not yet been revealed, but the announcement alone has brought back strong memories of the original film.

The first Khalnayak was directed by Subhash Ghai and released in 1993. It featured Sanjay Dutt in the role of Ballu, along with Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff. The film stood out because it did not show a simple hero versus villain story. Instead, it focused on a complex character who had both negative and emotional sides.

The story followed Ballu, a criminal who escapes from police custody. Inspector Ram, played by Jackie Shroff, tries to catch him. To help in the mission, Ram’s fiancée Ganga, played by Madhuri Dixit, goes undercover to get close to Ballu. The story develops into more than just a chase, showing emotions like trust, betrayal, and the reasons behind a person becoming a criminal.

Khalnayak was one of the highest earning films of 1993 and received several award nominations. It became popular not just for its story but also for its music. Songs like Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai became widely discussed, while Khal Nayak Hoon Main turned into a lasting hit. The music album was also among the top selling at that time.

The film was released during a difficult period in Sanjay Dutt’s personal life, which added more attention to it. Despite this, the film performed very well and remained strong at the box office.

Even today, Khalnayak is remembered as an important film in Hindi cinema. It is often seen as an example of how mainstream films can present characters with depth instead of showing them as completely good or bad.

Karan Wahi Says Spirituality Has Not Ended His Career

0

Karan Wahi has responded to rumours claiming that he has quit acting. These reports started circulating after a post on social media suggested that he had left the entertainment industry to focus only on spirituality. Karan addressed the issue directly by resharing the post on April 22 and making his position clear.

He denied the claims and explained that being spiritual does not mean stepping away from work. He wrote, “Being spiritual doesn’t mean I have to leave my work. Please don’t spread rumours for the sake of virality. Request to the concerned person to remove this post and not spread lies. Thank you.”

In a recent podcast conversation with Paras Chhabra, Karan spoke in detail about the changes he has made in his personal life. He shared that over the past few months, he has started practising naam jaap and has been wearing a Tulsi mala from Vrindavan. He also said that he has stopped eating non vegetarian food for the last three months.

Karan mentioned that spiritual figures like Neem Karoli Baba and Premanand Maharaj have had a strong influence on him. Talking about this change, he said, “I never thought in my life that I would become a vegetarian, but now, after wearing the Kanthi mala, everything feels very peaceful.”

Apart from his spiritual journey, Karan also spoke about a serious health issue he had been facing. He described it as a severe skin condition that affected him physically and emotionally. He said, “My body started drying from the inside, half of my body would become dry. When I scratched, my skin would tear and bleed. When I woke up in the morning and looked at the bedsheet, it was red with bloodstains. Seeing it, I would get scared.”

He added that making lifestyle and diet changes has helped him feel better over time.

Karan Wahi became popular through television shows like Remix, Dill Mill Gayye and Baat Hamari Pakki Hai. He has also hosted shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

In recent years, he has continued working in digital projects, making it clear that his spiritual path is part of his personal life and not a replacement for his professional career.

Kajol Opens Up About Tough Phase With Daughter Nysa

0

Kajol recently spoke openly about the challenges she faced while raising her daughter Nysa Devgan. She shared that there was a time when their relationship went through a difficult phase, especially during Nysa’s early teenage years.

Kajol, who has been married to Ajay Devgn since 1999, is a mother to two children, Nysa and Yug. In a recent conversation on Lilly Singh’s podcast, she talked about how parenting has changed over the years and how raising a Gen Z child required her to rethink her approach.

She explained that things became challenging when Nysa was around 12 years old. “Hormones hit, and she was 12. We were all over the place. We were fighting, and we were both irrational and illogical at times,” she said. According to Kajol, this phase led to frequent arguments and misunderstandings between them.

Realising that the situation was not improving, Kajol decided to change the way she handled things. She said that as a parent, she felt it was important to stay calm and take a more thoughtful approach. “Being the adult, I decided I should be more rational. I chose to talk to her instead of fighting as much, to keep communicating till she starts listening,” she explained.

She also shared that this difficult period lasted for nearly three years. During that time, both of them found it hard to connect with each other. “We both struggled for nearly three years. It was like, I don’t want to listen to you, I don’t want to talk to you,” she said.

Over time, things improved as they started having more open conversations. Kajol realised that listening to her daughter was more important than constantly giving advice. She said, “It became about me sitting down and listening to her. Giving her the space to talk and be heard made the biggest difference. That was my biggest learning.”

Today, at 23, Nysa shares a much better relationship with her mother. Kajol has also mentioned earlier that Nysa is not interested in joining the film industry.

On the work front, Kajol was last seen in Maa and Sarzameen. She also appeared in the talk show Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle with Twinkle Khanna and in Season 2 of The Trial Pyaar Kaanoon Dhokha. She will next be seen in Maharagni Queen of Queens, directed by Charan Tej Uppalapati.

Kajol Breaks No Kissing Rule After 30 Years

0

For many years, Kajol has been known not just for her strong performances but also for maintaining clear personal boundaries on screen. That is why her recent decision to do a kissing scene has caught people’s attention. After working in the film industry for nearly 30 years, Kajol made this change in her digital debut series The Trial Pyaar Kaanoon Dhokha, which released in 2023. In the show, she shared a kiss with her co actor Jisshu Sengupta, something she had never done before in her career.

Talking about this on Lilly Singh’s podcast, Kajol explained that the scene was not added just for attention. According to her, it was an important part of the story and her character. She said, “Honestly, it was the season that I was playing. It had so much to do with the character and who she was. It wasn’t simply a kiss; it was about what she thought and what she wanted to happen and what didn’t happen for her. What she believed, what she had faith in. What she couldn’t have faith in. It was something that was an integral part of the entire screenplay, so I couldn’t have cut that out without cutting an integral part of the entire character.”

She also shared that saying yes to the scene was not easy for her. She admitted feeling uncomfortable while thinking about it and even while being on set. She said, “I think I was uncomfortable with it. I was very, very uncomfortable with the idea till I was standing on set. I liked it in theory and wasn’t sure whether I was actually going to do it or tell them, ‘Cut! This is not happening!’ But, I really think it was simply that, it was simply a professional call where I felt that I can make this call today.”

In the series, Kajol plays Noyonika Sengupta, a homemaker who returns to her career as a lawyer after her husband is involved in a scandal. The show is directed by Suparn Verma and is based on the popular series The Good Wife. It also features actors like Alyy Khan and Sheeba Chaddha in important roles.

Kajol also spoke about how she has always been clear about her decisions throughout her career. She said that even in her early days, she was very honest, which sometimes created difficult situations, but it helped her stay focused on her work.

The second season of the series released last year and is currently available for streaming on JioHotstar.

Noah Kahan – End of August Song Lyrics

Richie and Austen are often along for the ride
They don’t say a lot, but they know every inch of this drive
If these trees started talkin’, I bet you they’d only talk shit
‘Cause we never do anythin’ real, we just talk about it
Endin’ of August, the bugs are just startin’ to die
All the neighbors are votin’ for someone who wins every time
And I thought gettin’ older meant knowin’ it’s too late to try
And I tried gettin’ sober, I swear I did bettеr this time

Ooh, hm
Ooh, hm
Ooh, hm
Ooh, hm

Oh, everythin’ you see out hеre will die
Oh, it’s a matter of time
‘Til it’s fields of ice and reflector lights
‘Til it’s our town, mm

And anythin’ you need, I will provide
A ride home or an alibi
I know the traffic light you can speed right by
‘Cause the camera’s down
And I follow New York plates to the county line
I ignore ’em when they wave on 89
The minute that September hits
I’m goin’ off my medicine, oh
Late August angst and a pointless night
Oh, and the feelin’ of bein’ alive
For the first time in a long time

Oh, we’re a drawin’ of a place
We’re a photo on the fridge
They mined copper for years
Oh, there was nothin’ left to dig
It’s a place where most kids
Just grow up and have kids
Who grow up and have kids
Who build homes for the rich, oh

Oh, everythin’ you see out here will die
Oh, it’s a matter of time
‘Til it’s fields of ice and reflector lights
‘Til it’s our town

‘Til it’s our town
‘Til it’s our town
And it’s our town
‘Cause it’s ours now

Noah Kahan – Doors Song Lyrics

Song Name – Doors
Singer – Noah Kahan

Check out Noah Kahan – Doors Song Lyrics

I grew up pretendin’ sticks were little guns
I would point ’em at my dad, and he’d get mad
‘Cause God forbid I hurt someone
I’d hurt anyone I could
Anyone who got too close, and anyone who wouldn’t look
I was born into a one-hundred-year storm
Foot of ice across Vermont
And in that dark, and in that frost, a heart was formed
Malcontented and unwarm
You were unsuspectin’, not unwarned

That I’m the trouble ahead, that I scream in my sleep
You put your money on red, I’m a sure bet at a losin’ streak
I keep showin’ you doors, but you can’t open them up
‘Cause it gets hardеr to see me the closer you try to look

I just livе here, babe, but you’re the one who decided to knock
And you knocked

Have you ever stared directly at the sun?
Have you ever shared some closeness, so exposed
To have it spit back by someone?
So, forgive me if I jump
At the rattle of your keys
“Oh, are you leavin’?,” “No, babe, I’m just wakin’ up”
And now what?
I’m left starin’ at the ceilin’, listin’ reasons you should pack all your shit up

Yeah, I’m the trouble ahead, and I scream in my sleep
You put your money on red, I’m a sure bet at a losin’ streak
I keep showin’ you doors, but you can’t open them up
‘Cause it gets harder to see me the closer you try to look

I just live here, babe, but you’re the one who decided to knock
You knocked

I’ll be gone so long before the anger comes
I’ll be only what you’ve known of me ’til now
Oh, how I hope you’re moving on

I’m the trouble ahead, and I scream in my sleep
You put your money on red, I’m a sure bet at a losin’ streak
I keep showin’ you doors, but you can’t open them up
‘Cause it gets harder to see me the closer you try to look

I just live here, babe, but you’re the one
I just live here, babe, but you’re the one
I just live here, babe, but you’re the one

The Mummy Holds Strong At Box Office In Week One

The Mummy has shown a steady performance at the Indian box office during its first week. On Day 7, the film collected around Rs. 1.75 crore, which was about 15 per cent lower than the previous day. This is considered a normal drop for a weekday. With this, the film’s total collection for its first week has reached approximately Rs. 17 crore gross in India.

Looking at current trends, the film is expected to perform better during its second weekend, as collections usually increase on Saturdays and Sundays. However, it will face new competition from the release of Michael, a biographical drama based on the life of Michael Jackson. If the new release receives strong audience response, it could affect the box office performance of The Mummy.

Despite this upcoming competition, The Mummy has already performed well enough to be considered a successful film in India. Earlier, it was expected to finish its run at around Rs. 20 crore gross, but based on its current trend, it now has a chance to cross Rs. 30 crore gross by the end of its theatrical run.

Here is the day wise box office collection of the film:

Friday Rs. 2.00 cr.
Saturday Rs. 3.00 cr.
Sunday Rs. 4.00 cr.
Monday Rs. 2.00 cr.
Tuesday Rs. 2.25 cr.
Wednesday Rs. 2.00 cr.
Thursday Rs. 1.75 cr. (est.)

Total Rs. 17 cr.

The title of the film may also have helped attract audiences. The earlier The Mummy and its sequels were quite popular in India. The 1999 film collected around Rs. 20 crore, while the later parts released in 2001 and 2008 earned about Rs. 27 crore and Rs. 48 crore respectively. Adjusted to today’s value, these figures would be close to Rs. 200 crore.

Although this new film is not connected to the earlier series, the familiar name likely helped in gaining initial attention. Overall, the film has had a stable start and could become one of the successful Hollywood releases in India this year if it continues to perform well.

Dacoit Sees Sharp Fall In Second Week Collections

Dacoit A Love Story continued its run at the box office with a collection of around Rs. 0.30 crore on its second Thursday. With this, the film’s total for the second week reached about Rs. 5.45 crore gross. When added to its first week collection of Rs. 34 crore, the overall total now stands at Rs. 39.45 crore after 14 days.

Despite a decent start, the film saw a major drop in collections during its second week. The numbers fell by around 83 per cent compared to the first week, which clearly shows that the film could not maintain audience interest. Such a sharp decline usually indicates that the film did not receive strong positive feedback after release.

The film stars Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles. It is directed by Shaneil Deo. The story is presented as a mix of action, drama, and thriller elements. The supporting cast includes Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla.

According to current trends, the film is expected to add only a small amount to its total in the coming days. Its final box office collection is likely to be around Rs. 43 crore gross in India. Based on its overall performance and the sharp drop after the first week, the film has been considered a flop.

Here is the day wise breakdown of the film’s box office collections:

Day 1 Rs. 8.00 crore
Day 2 Rs. 8.50 crore
Day 3 Rs. 7.75 crore
Day 4 Rs. 3.00 crore
Day 5 Rs. 3.25 crore
Day 6 Rs. 2.00 crore
Day 7 Rs. 1.50 crore
Day 8 Rs. 0.90 crore
Day 9 Rs. 1.50 crore
Day 10 Rs. 1.60 crore
Day 11 Rs. 0.40 crore
Day 12 Rs. 0.40 crore
Day 13 Rs. 0.35 crore (est.)
Day 14 Rs. 0.30 crore (est.)

Total Rs. 39.45 crore

Overall, while the film started well in its first few days, it could not sustain the momentum and quickly lost pace at the box office.

Bhooth Bangla Crosses Rs 80 Crore In First Week

Bhooth Bangla continued its steady run at the box office by collecting around Rs. 5.25 crore nett on Thursday. This was about 10 per cent lower than its Wednesday numbers, which is a normal trend as weekday collections often slow down slightly.

With this, the film has completed its first week with a total collection of about Rs. 80.50 crore nett. This performance is considered strong, especially when compared to Jolly LLB 3, which had earned around Rs. 71 crore nett in its first week last year. Both films had a similar start on Friday and Saturday, but Bhooth Bangla moved ahead as the days progressed.

The film showed better growth on Sunday, collecting around 10 per cent more than Jolly LLB 3. This gap increased further during the weekdays, reaching about 15 per cent on Monday, 25 per cent on Wednesday, and nearly 30 per cent by Thursday. This indicates that Bhooth Bangla has been able to maintain audience interest more consistently.

Based on its current performance, the film is now very close to being declared a hit. The next important step is how it performs on its second Friday. If it manages to collect more than Rs. 5 crore nett on that day, it is likely to continue its strong run and reach a total collection of over Rs. 140 crore nett. If the film holds well in the coming days, it could even aim for a lifetime collection of around Rs. 150 crore nett.

Here is the day wise breakdown of its first week collections:

Previews Rs. 3.50 cr.
Friday Rs. 12.00 cr.
Saturday Rs. 18.50 cr.
Sunday Rs. 22.00 cr.
Monday Rs. 6.25 cr.
Tuesday Rs. 7.25 cr.
Wednesday Rs. 5.75 cr.
Thursday Rs. 5.25 cr.

Total Rs. 80.50 cr.

Overall, the film has had a solid first week with good growth over the weekend and stable collections during weekdays. Its future performance will depend on how well it maintains this trend in the coming weeks.
