New developments in the It Ends With Us legal saga have taken an unexpected turn as private text messages between Blake Lively and Taylor Swift were unsealed and revealed in court documents. The messages, buried in filings connected to Blake Lively’s ongoing legal dispute with Justin Baldoni, show a side of the celebrity friendships and private commentary that had previously been unknown to the public.  

The dispute itself began in December 2024 when Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and retaliation on the set of the film adaptation of It Ends With Us. Baldoni denied the claims and countersued, leading to a legal battle that has included a slew of filings, motions, and leaked courtroom documents.
