Actor Jr NTR has officially announced his next film with director Trivikram Srinivas, putting an end to months of speculation about their much discussed collaboration. The upcoming project will be backed by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s NTR Arts and S Radha Krishna’s Haarika & Hassine Creations. Although the title has not been revealed yet, the film is expected to be a large scale mythological drama.
Jr NTR shared the announcement poster on social media along with the caption, “The Son of Shiva. The Pride of Parvathi. The Eternal Commander. And, once again with TRIVIKRAM.” The poster features a dramatic scene showing a battlefield surrounded by flames, with a giant trishul standing at the centre. One of the most noticeable details in the poster is that the middle section of the trishul is designed to look like a DNA strand, adding an interesting visual element.
The caption and the poster have led many fans to believe that the film could be inspired by the story of Lord Muruga, who is also known as Kartikeya. However, the makers have not officially confirmed the storyline or the mythological character that the film is based on. They introduced the project with another caption that read, “Born in the North. Forged in the Heartland. Worshipped in the South. Now… A tale destined to belong to the universe.” The message has further increased curiosity about the film’s theme.
This project marks the second collaboration between Jr NTR and Trivikram Srinivas after their successful film Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. Music for the film will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander. At present, the makers have not announced the remaining cast, release date, or other production details. More information is expected to be shared in the coming months.

On the professional front, Jr NTR is also preparing for the release of his upcoming action film Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel. The recently released title announcement teaser introduced him as an assassin named Luger and generated strong interest among fans. The film is scheduled to release in June 2027 and also stars Biju Menon, Rukmini Vasanth, Khushbu Sundar, and Guru Somasundaram.
With this latest announcement, Jr NTR has added another major project to his upcoming lineup. While many details are still under wraps, the first poster has already sparked discussions among fans, especially because of its mythological references and the reunion between the actor and director Trivikram Srinivas.
