Adah Sharma, who made her mark in the industry with the films like 1920 and PHHIR, is readying for her upcoming rom-com HUM HAI RAAHI CAR KE. ''We are almost through with the shooting of the film except for a song,'' says Adah.
However, the beautiful actress Adah Sharma never had the chance of doing glamourous roles. While in 1920, the horror film, Adah played a possessed female wearing a daunting make-up, PHHIR had Adah Sharma playing an unattractive clairvoyant who carries a mysterious look throughout. And now once again the lanky beauty will be seen without make-up in her upcoming film HUM HAI RAAHI CAR KE.
Says Adah, ''I play a young Sindhi girl called Priyanka Lalwani. I carry a single look throughout the film as HUM HAI RAAHI CAR KE is a one night story. My character in the film isn't someone who applies layers of make-up or does much to her hair. Also my director Jyotin Goel wanted me to look very natural.''
Meanwhile the leggy lass did a quirky photoshoot. Says Adah, ''I like to look different every time. As I am a dancer (classical) I love to play around with hand movements and postures. And in my recent photoshoot you will get to see some quirky poses and hand movements. Also I wanted to look a bit grungy.''
Doing hot photo-shoots is the latest fad in Bollywood and a tool for image makeover. Ask Adah if her recent photoshoot was an attempt to image makeover and she says, ''Not at all. I don't have any image which has to be changed. I am not attempting to project myself in any way.''
Prod her about the idea of hot photo-shoots and at once she says, ''I don't know how hot is defined. I don't necessarily think a person needs to shed clothes to look hot. A person can still look hot being fully covered.''
Having said that, Adah has no offences against hot photo-shoots. The lanky beauty is game for it; however it has to be done tastefully. Adah says, ''I don't have any offences against hot shoots. It really depends what kind of photoshoot it is. Like I am not comfortable posing at the bus stop wearing a bikini but I have no qualms doing a bikini shoot if it's on a beach. It should be done aesthetically and in a tasteful manner.''
Adah doesn't like to imitate anyone but she quite admires international icons Tyra Banks and Beyonce's style. ''Aping someone's style is something which I don't like. But Tyra and Beyonce's style appeals to me,'' Adah shares.
