Superstar Rajinikanth, popular for his iconic performance and large fan following, has again stolen hearts—not with a blockbuster, but with his humility during a spiritual retreat to the Himalayas. Leaving aside his hectic work routine, the actor is on a week-long spiritual sojourn with close friends.
His trip started in Rishikesh, a location he has been to many times previously. Wearing a simple white dhoti and shirt, Rajinikanth’s images from the trip have become viral, with people appreciating his humility and down-to-earth nature. He went to the Swami Dayananda Ashram and offered respects to Swami Dayananda Saraswati. The actor is said to have a special place in his heart for this ashram, having gone there often in the past.
Apart from going to the ashram, Rajinikanth also spent time meditating along the holy Ganga River and participated in the sacred Ganga aarti. This retreat appears to provide the superstar with some serene relief from the spotlight and an opportunity to rediscover his spiritual roots.
One of the photos that gained attention from fans is of Rajinikanth having a simple meal at a roadside restaurant. Served on a disposable leaf plate (pattal), his food consisted of chapati, curry, and what seemed to be medu vada. This act of living simply, even when having a break, has struck a chord with fans.

As per The Financial Express, after Rishikesh, Rajinikanth visited Dwarahat, a peaceful spiritual town in Uttarakhand famous for its calm atmosphere and spiritual hubs.
This spiritual tour not only reflects Rajinikanth’s individual beliefs but also reflects his capability to remain down-to-earth even at such huge celebrity status. Fans still celebrate not only the actor, but the person behind fame.
