Cocktail 2, starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna, continued its run at the box office after completing 11 days in theatres. While the film recorded a noticeable drop in collections on its second Monday, it achieved an important milestone by crossing the lifetime India nett collection of Shahid Kapoor’s previous release, O’Romeo.
According to Sacnilk, the romantic comedy earned Rs 1.75 crore nett on Day 11, which was a 60.2 per cent drop compared to Day 10. The film was screened across 3,873 shows and recorded an overall occupancy of 15 per cent on its second Monday. With this, its total India nett collection reached Rs 84.95 crore.
The film also continued to add to its overseas earnings. On its 11th day, it collected Rs 50 lakhs from international markets. This took its overseas gross collection to Rs 28.10 crore, while its India gross stood at Rs 101.32 crore. As a result, the film’s worldwide gross collection reached Rs 129.42 crore.
Released on June 19, Cocktail 2 had a strong opening weekend. It earned Rs 13.50 crore on Friday, Rs 16.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 17.75 crore on Sunday, taking its opening weekend total to more than Rs 47 crore. During the first week, collections gradually slowed, with the film earning Rs 6.75 crore on both Monday and Tuesday, Rs 5.25 crore on Wednesday and Rs 4.25 crore on Thursday. The first week’s India nett total closed at Rs 70.50 crore.
The film remained steady during its second weekend by collecting Rs 4 crore on Friday, Rs 4.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 4.40 crore on Sunday. By the end of Day 10, its India nett collection had reached Rs 83.15 crore before the expected weekday decline on Monday.
With Rs 84.95 crore nett in India after 11 days, Cocktail 2 has gone past the lifetime India nett collection of O’Romeo, which ended its theatrical run at Rs 72.99 crore after its release on February 13, 2026. O’Romeo had collected Rs 110.81 crore worldwide during its full run.
Cocktail 2 is a spiritual sequel to the 2012 film Cocktail, directed by Homi Adajania. The original movie starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty. The new film is written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain and is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg under Maddock Films and Luv Films.
