We were one of the few sources which had predicted on the day of it’s release that the Salman, Kareena and Nawaz starrer, BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN, would challenge the 300 crore mark of Aamir’s PK.

Well, it has happened! The Kabir Khan directed BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN touched the 300 crore (the only other film apart from PK to do so) mark last Wednesday (20th day), and is still going strong. In the process BB established the fastest 100 crore record (3-days) for a pure Hindi film (no dubbed version totals added), as also the best opening week by netting 184 crore (beating PK).

However, the 336 crore (the highest ever total for a Bollywood venture) record of Hirani’s Aamir Khan starrer, PK, will remain intact as it appears that BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN will end its run in the 315-320 crore range.
